I found the emulator several years back in one of the emu newsgroups, I sent Fox a copy, haven't heard as to any problems he's had with it. Myself I never had any, it seemed to run all the games I tried perfectly, granted I never tried hooking in a PS controller (I always used the keyboard) so as far as limited feedback through a PS controller I can't say. As I said in my above post it allows you to put it on a cd with like 3 files from a PS disk, and presto you have a PS to Computer bootable cd, I always took from that feature that it overlooked copy protection since it would allow you to make bootable cd's. Again this was a feature I never tried. At the time I found it in the ng's I was in a phase of collecting and and all emulators I could get my hands on which now I have long since abandoned. It was really a waste of space for me as I only owned like 2-4 PS games and was never a fan of PS. I never even bothered getting a PS2, call me stupid, but I just never could get into them, just something about PS I never liked I guess. As far as differences between a PS and PSOne. If I remember correctly the PSOne had less memory or something than a regular PS, as I had a neighbor that had a PSOne and several games and some of the games would not run on the PSOne, saying something like not enough memory or something like that.

Yea I agree with him on that one, I forgot about Nestopia, you can't beat it for NES emulation New Version just came out to: v1.33

Let me guess you are using ProSystem? For some reason Beef Drop, hack or original, won't work with it. Works fine with MESS and EMU7800 though. -Jeff Yep it is my Eulator, I'll try one of the others

Dunno what it's suppose to do, but when I start the game you can't move, you just stand there forever with music playing, no enemies ever come out either

For 2600 Stella IMHO is the only way to go For 5200 & Atari 8bit I use Atari800win Plus it works great For 7800 myself I like ProSystem Can't help you really on Coleco as I never been that big of a fan. Of course if you got plenty of HD space as it can get pretty big depending on what you want to EMU you can always use MESS as it emu's all of those systems, Arcade, and just about any other system you can think of including Coleco and Intelivision, you do however need bios files for all the different systems MESS emulates, but you can find them np at: http://users.acn.gr/lagakis/bk/mess.htm Happy Emu'ing man

There are several that work, I have one on CD somewhere (I'll have to find the CD and I'll edit this post later with the name of it) that works excellent, I simply pop in the cd, run the emu, put in a ps1 cd, and presto I'm playing ps1 on my computer. All the ps1 games I have (and granted its not that many as I never have been a big fan) all worked fine/ Okay I found the CD with the emulator on it so as promised I'm editing this post. the name of the PSX emulator that I use and like is called "Virtual Game Station PC PSX Emulator" one of the features I like about it, is besides running the program and playing the PS CD on your computer, is the ability to make a autoboot cd of the PS game that will run on your computer without having to run the emulator at all.

Never seen a walk through on cleaning one. I have taken one of mine apart and done some cleaning using q-tips alcohol, and a can of compressed air, you just have to be sure to keep up with all the parts.

Yep, even tried changing to ctrl arrows, numpad, etc Kenny I don't suppose that you've got "Scroll Lock" selected on your keybord? No, but whatever it was it seems that a simple reboot of windows fixed the problem. Thanx 4 the help Kenny

Okay I've wiped all my settings and everything, but seems no matter what I do I can no longer get the arrow keys/right control as fire setting to work anymore. I dunno what the heck I did to cause this but whenever I try to use them, they either do nothing, or cause unwanted actions. Any ideas? Kenny

You know come to think about it, I do recall my mother telling me once when I would spend entire weekends, and anytime I wasn't in school, glued to the television playing my Atari, that if I didn't quit spending so much time on those damn games, not only would they rot my brain, but I would also goto hell Kenny

Was bored today so I started looking through some of my 2600 roms with a hex editor, in Millipede I found the message "Dave Staugas Loves Beatrice Hablig". Was this something that was added by someone after the rom was dumped or did it exist in the original code? Now I guess I'll spend the better part of the day looking through all my roms seeing what other messages if any I can find Kenny

Thanks I will check out the sites. Kenny

Anyone either know where I can locate 8-bit images to use on an Emulator? I would also love to know a way to transfer Atari 8 bit disks over to a format that I can use myself as I have quite a collection for my 1200xl and 800xl, problem is though since I no longer have a working Atari Disk Drive I would have to try and find a way to do this without one.
