The Sega Cd has a small built in memory storage unit. You can save a few games on the system itself. As for games you can get them pretty cheap all but the rpgs that is.

Which system would you save
Ghost Soldier replied to Atarifever's topic in Classic Console Discussion
I'd probably save the Sega Cd. At the time it was the coolest thing out. I remember seeing night trap, and mansion of hidden souls and thinking wow. It could have been a real contendor in the rpg/strategy field if only they hadn't spent there time concentrating on a weakness FMV. Granted I do like a few FMV's on it Tomcat Alley, Double Switch and Nighttrap but it had so much more potential. As for the ports from the genesis they could have been something. Instead they just made use of the better sound. -

If you got robbed that really blows. I'm in the process of writing down everything for my insurance company just in case of fire or theft. Most people don't know what they have until they write it down and take pictures. Make a copy of the list and pictures. One for your insurance company and the other to put in a lock box and your bank. Never be to safe -

Opps meant Moonwalker, but the game could be Sleepwalker. Personally if I was hearing the song beat-it and seen michael open the door and spin to save me. I'd run like the little girls in the game too. He kinda resembles a sleepwalking zombie. 8-) Love the game though -

Ghost Soldier replied to ganonbanned's topic in Gaming Publications and Websites
Do a search for Classic Gamer Magazine. The first two editions are free downloads. Theres another 6 or so that you can purchase on a cd for 10 bucks. also try Retro Gamer its a bit pricey though to subscribe and ship to the states. -

Streets of Rage 3 would be nice. I still have yet to get my hands on a copy of it. I'd also like to see Toejam and Earl talk about a fun two player game. -

I love collections like this. I can hardly wait to buy it. -
This is one of my favorite games. I agree with some of the backgrounds being so well done that you miss something every so often. As for the hit points being 999hp and 99mp that didn't bother me so much. I kinda hate the rpgs that have levels of hp that are so out there that you start off fight a character that takes out 5 or 6 hps and practically kills you in the begining and towards the end a boss takes out 1000+ and barely dents your hit points. As for Lavos use your triple attacks as frequently as possible. The way I did it was triple attack then a cure and did that over and over. My favorite feature of the game is the +new game. I love being able to start the game over for a different ending and having all my weapons and stats in a new game.

Ahh, gotta love windows 3.1 just a step up from dosshell. Sniff sniff those where the days. Thinking about playing Streetrod now anyone remember that one ? -
Sounds like a rip to me Rock. I normally find the games lying under baby items or mixed in with dvds and cassettes. Half the time there unpriced and I just kinda hold it up and ask what they want. They stumble Ohh a dollar I hand them the bill and walk away smirking.
