Looks pretty good. A friend of mine is a big Baldur's Gate fan. I'll have to tell him about this one.

People like that are on any auction site. Even some regular webstores. Always trying to make an extra couple bucks on the shipping. Of course if they're selling it well packaged and w/ delivery confirmation and/or insurance, that's not too bad. Plus, a lot of sellers, especially ones i've seen at CTCW have super cheap combined shipping that usually goes along with their shipping prices. Sometimes FREE or only .25/.50 extra per game. $5 or slightly more is worth it when you get to load up on good deals.

Oldeset known living release day 360 finally dies......
16-bit replied to Starscream's topic in Microsoft Xbox 360
Sorry for your loss 2 weeks without a 360 is rough. It's nice that they're still replacing it for free. Plus now it'll have a renewed warranty when you get it back. -
If you are looking for HDMI or any other video/audio cables, try Monoprice.com. Cheapest. cables.ever. I've ordered from them plenty of times. Awesome prices and they ship quickly too. $3 for 4ft.: HDMI cable They have a lot of different lengths too, and even different colors.

1. No. I personally don't understand all the paranoia lately about one either. The market seems to be doing fine. If anything it might even go up. When there's a bad economy, entertainment sources make money usually (movies, comic books, etc.). I don't even see a problem in the future for the big 3 companies either. Unless Sony can't pay back the loans they took out for PS3, Microsoft runs out of money...or Nintendo Wii's are found to cause cancer. 2. That would be nice. 3. Seems that way, unfortunately. There's some spots you can find here and there that have good arcades in them, but it's at "fun center" type places, not dedicated arcades. Most D&B's really don't have the greatest arcades in them either.

Glad to see you're enjoying the new 360. I love the new Arcade models (new Jaspers). Got mine as a replacement on Black Friday and swapped my HDD over. So much quieter... Not sure if I read your last post right, but if you didn't actually purchase the upgrade at the store, and if you're not object to it, there's always eBay. You can get people's old 20 and 60 GB drives for a good bit cheaper. The 20's especially are fairly cheap and it's more than enough storage space to last you a while.

Nice! Wish our Dark Tower was in that kind of shape still. lol -
It's not marketed as a toy though. Nintendo sells the Wii as a fun console, that's easy to play. It's main goal is to get people together to play (friends/family), hence the "WE". It's supposed to appeal to people of all ages and genders. If you look up some of the interviews Satoru Iwata, he states that. They designed the Wii and its controller to be simple, and intuitive. Something that anyone can pick up and have an easy time playing. Peripherals like the Wii Fit appeal to a large part of their consumer base. People who usually don't play video games and aren't used using a standard controller can play game using a completely different interface. As much as I love the Dreamcast, you can't compare it the Wii to it either. Wii has had a great start and has continued to sell. It continues to top sales charts even in direct competition with more powerful gaming systems. Whereas Dreamcast flatlined shortly after its first year. Not just due to PS2, but poor marketing and troubles within Sega itself.

OK, here's what I'm talking about. Just because Joystiq, says that PS3 outsold Wii last month, doesn't mean it's kicking butt. It's only outsold Wii 3 times in Japan, and only ONCE here in America and it's still topping both US and Japnaese markets on a fairly regular basis even though the margin has slimmed. Sales Chart For the record, PS3 is also trailing the 360 in both markets... Here's some more sales data for you: From FT.com (Financial Times) PS3 outstrips Wii in Japanese sales By Robin Harding in Tokyo Published: April 6 2009 13:17 | Last updated: April 6 2009 13:17 Nintendo’s all-conquering Wii games console is showing its first signs of weakness with Japanese sales last month falling below those of Sony’s PlayStation 3. According to data released Monday by the games research group Enterbrain, Sony sold 146,948 PS3s in the five weeks to March 29 compared with 99,335 sales of the Wii. ... Nintendo’s Wii, with its innovative motion-sensitive controller, has dominated the current generation of video game hardware since its release in 2006. ... The Wii outsold the PS3 by nearly three to one in the larger US market in February, selling 750,000 units, according to NPD the research company. ... Cumulative Wii sales in Japan of almost 8m still exceed PS3 sales of about 3m machines. ---------------------- I still have to argue that I think you have your demographics confused. Wii/DS is marketed to a much broader age range than Iphone/Macs. It's never been a "ME TOO", it's more of "Everyone can play".

Where are u getting that figure from? The Wii has been outselling the PS3 in Japan for a while. Granted PS3 outsold Wii last month, but that's the first time in almost 16 months! Which was probably due in part to Resident evil 5. I don't think they're directly trying to compete with Apple either. Those are two different target markets. Just the same as the difference between Wii and 360/PS3 gaming targets. On another note, Nintendo sold 435,000 DSi's during its first week, and total Nintendo system sales accounted for almost 60% of US sales last month. All in all, I'd say Nintendo seems to be doing just fine.

Here's a few.

Great seller! Bought some SNES games from him. Good communication, prompt shipping.

It depends on what cart you have. They all have their own firmware/operating system differences. I highly recommend the "M3DS Real". Nice and easy with mostly all drag and drop. Plus they have a new firmware called "Sakura" that makes the interface nice and smooth.

LOL! Is that from the GameInformer April issue?
-
Yea, he does awesome work. That C64 is fantastic. He's also done Xbox 360, and PS3 laptops.
-
Yea, it's definitely a unique experience going up to Qmart. Haha. Though if you've ever been to Zern's Farmer's Market, that place makes Qmart look like fancy boutique shops! Speaking of, there's a game shop at Zern's too. I wouldn't recommend them at all though. They're usually rude and always overpriced.
-
Ign gave it a 9.0. It looks like a fun game. Kind of like Wario Ware mixed with Elite Beat Agents. I'd say just get the DS Lite. Gamestop is selling refurbished Lites for $109.
-
WOW! That's a crazy awesome price. I wonder if they have other PS2 games for that price. Almost any game is worth $2 new! haha
-
There's not a lot around the Philly area. I get most of my "retro" games off of eBay. Sometimes you get lucky when you look around the local flea markets. I've had some good luck at Qmart in Quakertown. There's a game shop in there that has a good selection of stuff. Their pricing is hit or miss though. Some games are a really good deal and then others are waaay overpriced. Have to check out Next Level too! I hadn't heard of them before, thanks for the heads up Jibbajabba.
-
Nice! It looks like it's in great shape! Awesome selection of games too. Its an exciting feeling when you finally get a heavy sixer. Kind of like you're official in the Atari club now
-
Definitely. It's a great game for a fun/casual RPG experience.
-
Just got it today. It's definitely a great game! Old school GTA style, mixed with the modern play style. Impressive graphics for a DS game too. It's nice to have something that gets me to play my DS again.
-
I might end up buying some off Amazon eventually, especially if they keep having sales. Another nice thing is that you only need to spend the money you have to, rather than buy a bulk lot of points that you're only going to use part of.

No classic gaming today, but the other day I played some Lords of the Realm 2
