YES. BUY IT. ...right now. lol Granted I'm a big fan of Dreamcast so my opinion my be slightly biased, but it's a great system to have. There's a decent mix of puzzlers and a lot of great racing games too if that's your style. Some good puzzle games are: Mr. Driller Chu Chu Rocket Wetrix+ Super Puzzle Fighter 2 (Japan import) Racers: Daytona USA Tokyo Xtreme Racer 1&2 San Francisco Rush 2049 Sega GT Re-Volt Hydro Thunder 4x4 Evo Test Drive Le Mans Ferrari F355 Challenge There's a selection of other genres too (platformers, etc). Plus there's a lot of homebrew/indy games out there to try. Also DC will run emulators and burnt game disks if you want to try a game before you buy it.

You can't go online and surf the web at "blistering" speeds through your dial up connection with your PS2 Though PS2 does have the Katamari games, so I'll give them a point for that.

This helped me with mine. My ribbon cable was loose. http://www.sonic-cult.org/articles/32x/

I went to the Go-Kart/Fun Center near my house last night with some friends. They've been overhauling their arcade section since new owners took over, so they've been getting a lot of new stuff lately. Today I saw Sega Flash Beats. Has anyone else played this? It was a really fun game. Almost like a fancy Pong, but with lights in tubes for the balls and heavy music back beats. Aparently it's been out for quite a couple of years now, but this is the first time I've sen one. Basic concept is that there's 5 tubes with red lights in them that are the "balls". They bounce back and forth as you hit the corresponding button on your end which causes a green light to push the ball. Definitely a lot of fun to play. Plus the voices/instructions were in Japanese so that's always fun, haha. They also had an F355 Challenge 2: International Course Edition machine, which was another new one for me. I've played the regular F355 plenty of times, but I've never seen one of these. Does anyone know if these used to link up with Dreamcast VMU's over in Japan? After you finished racing it would show a pictue of a Dreamcast and VMU with arrows pointing towards a whole bunch of Japanese text. I didn't see any ports or anything. There was a section where you might get a print out sheet from or maybe a card though. You can see it in the picture.

Now all you need to do is to find Dragon Force and Panzer Dragoon Saga for $5. haha I'd go back and check the place you bought Mega Man from.

What game system(s) do you plan on buying next?

Definitely a Sega CD. I've been trying to track down one in good condition at a reasonable price. After that I'll probably hold off on systems for a while, unless I see a good deal on a Lynx. -
You might have to check flea markets, garage sales, thrift stores, etc. Seems like the ones on eBay are overpriced or they include extra stuff you wouldn't need. There's only 2 on CtCW and they're not regular 4-switchers either. What project are you working on?

Wow. That's scary Kids these days... -
I would prefer the Dreamcast version actually. Looking at eBay, the last few are ending in the $35-$60 range. I'm surprised to see there's some ending on the lower end. Used to be you couldn't find it for under $40. True. ARRRRR!!

I'm interested. I'll take some of the leftovers once you figure out prices. Would be a good start to help get my SMS collection going.

It'd be worth the wait 'til 2012, considering how expensive it is on the used market, even for xbox and ps2.
-
The date and time are from the internal battery being dead. You can try to leave the DC on for a few hours to see if it'll hold a recharge. Otherwise you'll have to buy a replacement. You might be able to find a replacement board on eBay. There's a few sellers on there that part out Dreamcasts.

I've always had Recreation. I originally picked it thinking I'd get paired up with like minded gamers on XBL, but that's not the case. Not sure why MS doesn't use it. Seems like they should have just gotten rid of it with the new experience upgrade.

Now that I've finally gotten a SMS I'd be intereted

Street Fighter II: Championship Edition

Gotta go with Blanka too. Guile is a close 2nd, followed by Ken. One of the best Genesis games. Good thing you got the 6-button. I remember the days of having to hit the start button to switch to kicks. -
Little late i know, but message sent! haha Thanks
-
Nice! Congrats. If I was more of a RE fan I would love to get one. The color is awesome. Is it a "Jasper" 360? I would assume so, but you never know.

Bought 2 Genesis and an NES game from him. Good communication and all items were nicely packaged. THANKS!

I have a model 2. It's definitely one of my favorite systems. A lot of good memories playing Genesis! I also have a 32x. I've been looking for a Sega CD in good condition. My favorites would be: ToeJam & Earl Panic on Funkotron All the Sonic games. Though I think 2 is my fav. w/ followed by Sonic & Knuckles. 3-D Blast wasn't so hot though... Shining Force Streets of Rage 2 Vectorman Road Rash 2 Golden Axe And although they weren't Genesis exclusive I always enjoyed: Super Tecmo Bowl Super Street Fighter 2 Earthworm Jim Boogerman Maximum Carnage

I'll take one too! lol
