  1. CoD: World at War (plus the Natzi Zombies mode). Scene It - makes for a good multiplayer/party game. Also any of the Smackdown Vs. Raw games. It's not split screen but there's a lot of multiplayer modes for up to 4 players (royal rumble, fatal 4 way, tag team, etc). Maybe even Culdcept Saga if you're into that type of game.
  2. If anything I would say Civ Rev is more on the AoE side. It really only gets fast (often too fast) on the higher difficulty settings like Deity. Sometimes certain races will declare war on you early in the game, but you usually have plenty of time to prepare before their forces arrive. Also, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed just dropped to $20 new, so I'm sure it's pretty cheap used now. That's another good one.
  3. Ditto on Fallout 3 and CivRev. Though personally I find it hard to save and continue later in Civ, only because it's so hard to put down. The PGR3 that you have is another good choice. You can't save the middle of a race, but none of them are that long anyway. You can squeeze in a race here and there when you have time when you work through career mode or just work through the arcade challenges. GTA 4 might be one to consider getting. Plenty of save opportunities and it's just fun to play, even if you're not working on jobs for the main story. It's going for around $20 now on eBay. Also Orange Box (if you like shooters) and Viva Piñata (if you want something a little more casual). Both are cheap these days on eBay
  4. I don't have a very large SMS collection, but so far my favorites are: Choplifter Shinobi Hang On
  5. That's some cool stuff. Looks even better with E.T. plugged in!
  6. I'm having a really hard time deciding between the two systems. It's going to come down to whichever system ends up including a flux capacitor. Then I can travel back in time to buy all the minty fresh 2600 games. Any chance of fitting one in next to the Warren Robinett bust Jrok? I'll pay extra. Oh, and since we're so 1337,
  7. Finally played a few rounds the other night and it was a lot of fun. Definitely a good way to pass the time.
  8. Don't worry. A lot of people are addicted . LOL Just finished Fable 2! Couldn't put it down. Duels of the Planeswalkers for me now. Waiting on Bigs2 to come in.
  9. If you have updated your 360 to the NXE (new xbox experience), you can now copy your games to the hard drive. You still need to keep the game in the drive to play, but it won't be spinning.
  10. If you have a model 2, you might want something like THIS instead. It's a little bit more, but it has both L and R audio instead of just one. I bought the same one for my replacement model 2 and it works great.
  11. Since there wasn't a newer thread on the topic I figured I'd start one. Has anyone else gotten this yet and/or tried the demo? I really enjoyed it. As someone who plays MTG on a weekly basis, I feel they did a good job of making a simple way for people to learn to play MTG and enjoy some very casual games. Granted some of the premade decks they provide you with aren't very good, but they're mostly balanced with each other, except for maybe the Nissa Revane elf deck. I would have liked to see some more deck customization, or at least the ability to take some cards out of the deck, rather than just being able to add cards in. Though I suppose it's a fine line to walk between customization and making the game too confusing or complicated. The graphics are nice, as are the animations. It's definitely better than Magic Online as far as looks go. Campaign co-op and the online multiplayer are nice additions. I also enjoyed the challenge mode. If you're someone who enjoys Magic or wants to learn how to play, I highly recommend it. It's 800 Microsoft pts btw.
  12. That's exactly what kills Sonic 2 for me. Why is Tails there? He doesn't really contribute anything to the gameplay. He's just distracting. I don't understand why the developers chose to do that. Chris You know, you don't have to play as Sonic w/ Tails. You can also play as just Sonic or Tails as well. Count me in with the Sonic 2 and Sonic & Knuckles group.
  13. I had never heard of the LaserActive until now. Looking at the pictures though seems pretty beastly. Could you imagine having a game shelf for all your laser disks? lol
  14. Sounds pretty fun. What's the basic premise of the game? I've never watched the actual show.

  16. I will probably pick this one up. Has anyone else bought it yet?
  17. Add me to the list too. There's probably at least 3 games for each system I own that I haven't gotten around to playing. I blame it mostly on my 360. I'll buy something for one of my older systems and before I hook it up something good will come out for 360 and I'll end up playing that instead. Damn new generation systems with all their fancy type graphics.
  18. Would be nice, but it'll never happen. Outside of old school Sega fans, I doubt many people even know what Ristar is.
  19. I'd also recommend : Virtual On Tokyo Extreme Racer 1&2 Toy Commander Virtua Tennis Powerstone 1&2 (2 can be pricey to buy) Grandia 2 Skies of Arcadia Super Puzzle Fighter 2 (import)
  20. WOW! That's an awesome looking system. Wish I had the cash for it. Maybe someday... haha
  21. This has happened before too. There was a story a while ago about someone buying an iPod at Target that was actually just the box with rocks in it. Gotta love the shoddy customer service people who take these returns without looking at the box contents.
  22. DITTO! If there was one reason to own a PS2, for me it's definitely the Katamari games. I was also kind of disappointed by the 360 version as well. Dreamcast =
