    It's not just me. It's plenty of people. Including the other creator. He's divided a small fan group with his attitude. I guess my point is, why do you care that people are voicing their being concerned by his words, but don't seem to mind that his words are upsetting people?

    I think you're missing how someone has been dragging another creator through the mud, and challenging loyalties of people interested in their product over yours. I'm not knocking you for missing it. I know you're busy.

    You know, I've been waiting for 15 years for someone to actually follow through with replacement screens for the MV, and people like you bring all of those projects down. It's happened six times now. Moral of the story: if you don't have anything constructive to say, just stop.

    Wouldn't that require an inverter? I'm not sure where it would fit in the microvision chassis, but I'd really love an aqua colored EL backlight.

    I have to agree with you. I see how it may come across as a little crappy to piggyback off of another person's project. But, at the same time, this project was stalled, and probably has a third of all people still interested in the Microvision subscribed to the thread. This thread- and the hope attached to it- make it feel like a last chance effort to get replacement screens en-masse. Sometimes people need to jump at an opportunity before it's gone forever.

    To be fair, biverted DMGs tend to be front or side lit, and the bivert mod is for greater contrast. If an LCD is purpose made for back lighting, a bivert isn't required.

    I would take both kinds. One backlit, two non-backlit. But if they can only do one or the other, I'd take 3 of each, as long as they aren't too expensive.

    Just dusted off my old account to say I'd like as many as 3 screens, if the price isn't astronomical.
