  1. Heya people! If you own a 3DS and a flashcard, do not update to Nintendo's latest firmware, the 4.4.0-10X (where X is your region code) released on September 19th. The new firmware blocks all flashcards including the Supercard DSTWO and Acekard2i. I hope this post will save a few people from the inevitable.

      Does Nintendo do the forced upgrade thing like Sony? Meaning, if you buy a new 3DS game does it force you to "upgrade" thus losing your flash card support?

      They did it with the Wii which probably means they'll do it with 3DS. I think Metroid Other M forced an upgrade.
