  1. OK I have to own up...you know the original PlayStation and how the early 3D on those games had such low quality textures and wobbly blocky models and how dated it all looks today? I still love those games and still think they are friggin awesome.

      What I heard is that there was a hardware bug that threw off calculations used to keep textures smooth when scaling. The original Kings Field series rocked!

      I still love my PS1. Including 3D games. I actually prefer the more detailed pixelized textures from the smoothened, yet washed out N64 3D look. The biggest flaw in 3D of the PS1 was theincorrect perspective of textures. Like when you stand right beside a wall and look alongside it a straight line goes zigzag. Stuff like Crash Bandicoot that uses fewer textures but more shading looks gorgeous to me still.
