Some sushi, a beer and then a nice long nap. Oddly, five days after my Pfizer vaccination I think I felt a few affects today, in the span of about 10 to 15 minutes I had dizziness / lightheaded, hot flash, instant poop, not diarrhoea thank goodness but let’s just say it all came out rapidly (fear not I was already on the toilet) dry heaves but I didn’t throw up thankfully, tingly feeling in my hands and forearm, and afterwords all my symptoms seem to subside as quickly as they had hit me. Physically now Feel perfectly fine, we had to run around and do a few errands I just feel, you know, out of sorts, like not fully focused, that floaty feeling, like that out of body type experience where you feel like you’re seeing through the eyes of somebody else but otherwise fine. No more nausea no more sweats, so yeah I will finish this and just have a nice long nap and then I’m sure once I wake up and I will feel my old self again.

First shot 5 days ago - UPDATE : Well after this I slept for like 12 hours, got up a couple times to pee, considered getting up half way but thought well, I will just lay down again and see what happens and yeah seems I needed more 😆so roughly 12 hours sleep but I think I am back to my usual self now, no more brain fog or out of sorts, just needed proper rest to recover. Hope it's over at least until the next Pfizer follow up shot, 🙂

I've not slept in about 21 hours! No real reason, just having one of my weird stints. 😆 I'll likely crash in the next couple hours.

Do Macs have stupid updates that it forces you to update and takes away 20 minutes of your life?

Because they ARE computers, online and therefore the target of hackers, scammers etc, at the very least there are always security updates. Also, as for other updates, while YOU might be totally blissful and happy with an OS doing very specific things without ever taking advantage of new tech, abilities, services, options, most are not. You are better off looking for info on how to schedule updates, set your "Active Hours" , maybe consider manually checking for updates at times when you are not needing your computer so they download and install are more optimal times that wont interfere with you 😉

BydoEmpire - Me too, right from the start, Shane and his buddy Bryan Kid Hype Smith (RIP) , I also have some of the Retrogaming Radio DVD's and would frequent the old Retrogaming Radio website often, I even bought a old phat Nintendo DS handheld off Shane. Good guy and good speaker, I listened to many episodes overnight doing security.

I had my 2nd shot of Covid-19 vaccine yesterday (Moderna). I didn't turn green or sprout gills. I heard there can be a severe immune response, but I didn't get that fortunately unless it kicks in today.

Random thought: Watching an old MST3K, it occurs to me that much of the humor that made it great wouldn't work anymore.

Fortunately I am old enough to get all those references but for sure I can see a lot of younger generation scratchy their heads at a lot of the jokes that referenced pop culture of the time. Sadly the updated MST3k while more modern with the references just lack the quality of humor and writing inho. Of course I still watch a lot of the original casts Rifftrax currently being produced which seems the perfect balance of quality hilarious writing and more modern references though being older there are still some odd ancient references thrown around but they DO tend to acknowledge that such references may not be understood today as they tend to laugh at themselves and pointing out how dated they are.

Uh oh, I've gone down the rabbit hole of ripping my ps2 discs and playing via pcsx2. It works great, especially since my original ps2 died a few years back and I haven't gotten a replacement.

USPS delivered my package earlier than expected for the first time in my life, and right when I didn't want that to happen. Let me explain; my apartment's automated Package Concierge system charges $5 a night if a package isn't retrieved. I'm 350 miles from home until this Sunday, and 2 packages have already arrived with 2 more due before Sunday. They were supposed to arrive in December!
