I really do not think there IS as update, personally searched the official site and forums and found nothing so if the source / creator has no update I suspect none exists. Are you sure any graphical glitches are not do to dirty contacts on either you cart or slot? I have don't recall any such issues with mine.

Or you know, throw it up on Ebay auction and let it ride and let the current market even as it is decide. Likely, would still end up at fair market price if not more. Hell, even a tad discounted personally I would feel better than selling to you just out of principle. Blast from the past! WOW! 😀😎One thing leads to another and I came across THIS fun old video where I responded to some video game related questions. I am always amused particularly because I just don't remember videos I did like this 10 years ago, mostly because I just answer off the top of my head, fun to see my answers and what I was into at the time, who I was responding to and connected with etc. Just sharing some fun little stories but interesting if anyone wants to answer the same questions today. Ah OK, well there you go, YES that is the same model I have in fact with the Digital Video Cartridge. The CD-i needs it for most games to achieve what the 3DO does without one. I was lucky it was included when I picked mine up. Just hope the Timekeeper module holds up as I am not looking forward to attempt repair / replacement 😛 HAH I had to look twice at that video thumbnail and what's in it, thought it may of been one of my own older videos 😆 since I have all those things and have made so many videos over the years. Well, good luck in obtaining the proper video Mpeg module cartridge.

Did you mean CD-i? I don't believe the 3DO required it for any game. As well, it was not Japanese movies but a format that was more popular IN Japan then anywhere else, there still Hollywood and releases outside of Japan. I even recall back in the day here in CANADA seeing a VCD playing on a Commodore CD32 console which also required an add-on video Module, it was playing Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country, I thought it was amazing seeing a movie playing off an optical disc even if the quality was not much better than VHS. Strangely, there was disputes between Commodore and Philips about the licensing of the Video Module, unofficially they were not compatible but you could in fact play VCD's, including Philips own on the CD32 with Video Module. Anyway, bottom line, don't worry about a video module for the 3DO but definitely get one for the CD-i. As to which ones, well the model of CD-i you have will determine the module you need.

The digital video cartridge options were basically Mpeg add on modules giving units better or needed capabilities for video quality. Sadly, such a module is ABSOLUTELY required for several titles on the CD-i to obtain better quality video. On the 3DO however it was already pretty much equal in quality and the add on option for those consoles were pretty much to just add the Mpeg decoding functionality to view VCD movies, a digital movie standard more popular in Japan than anywhere else. I a Philips CD-i with a video module and a 3DO without one, always preferred the 3DO not to mention most (all?) CD-i consoles contain an internal battery encased in a chip called a timekeeper module as opposed to an easily replaceable coin type battery which has caused headaches for many as they eventually die and need replacing, there are guides on how to repair one or even replace with a socket that utilizes a more standard coin cell but it is fairly complex undertaking even for an average person like myself how does not mind a bit of tinkering. Honestly had I done my research before hand and known of this design choice I'd have never bothered with the CD-i 😛.

So yeah, hair care IS a thing since we cannot go out and social distancing blah blah. I just recently SHAVED my beard off 😮 because I like to "reset" every now and then, let my face breath etc, it's cool, I will have 5 o'clock shadow by 3 o'clock again 🙄 I mention this only because I am posting these silly low res images I took in Linux on one of my low end craptops recently and so you can see my before and after. I used a webcam effect in the after image because I was MAD LIKE HULK or something 😆 Now, as for the hair on my head well, who knows? We don't have clippers and I am not hacking away at my head for over 2 hours with disposable razors like I did my face so, I am expecting my hair to get longer than I have allowed it in years, I will likely have the Mod Squad Clarence Williams III / Linc Hayes Afro going before this is all over. 😎

Definitely, even MY original EverdriveMD allows it because the so called "adapter gizmo" was nothing more then a way to pass through the pins of Master System cards and carts. You can even use it to load / play 32x ROMS though in that case you will require an original 32x module since that actually added extra hardware and features. Sega Genesis, Sega Mega Drive, Sega Master System, and 32X files supported.

🙄😂 😎THERE WILL ALWAYS BE WAYS TO GET NINTENDO ROMS. Nintendo can spout all the legalize they wish, we all know their stance on roms and have known for years that if they had an infinity gauntlet they would snap their fingers and make every possible distribution channel of Nintendo roms disappear. YES, they have and will shut down sites only for others to appear in their place, then there are torrents, ftp, etc. And really, if you are advertising and distributing their roms especially for profit you deserve what happens. But as long as there is a demand there will always be a way to obtain Nintendo roms whether they like it or not. Now, you do whatever you think is right or you deem right because Nintendo says so but the fact of the matter is, should you or anyone download a Nintendo ROM or even an entire archive of roms for your personal use, if you are not distributing to others and especially if you are not charging for them you wont be going to jail. Thinking that just by downloading a rom, Nintendo or otherwise to run in an emulator for you own personal use will somehow make the police appear at your door, well, that's just paranoia. 😛 10 years, 20 years and so on, people will still be obtaining and playing Nintendo and other ROMS happily. Round and round it goes...........

I been suffering severe sinus issues past 3 days. FINALLY everything that was jammed up in my nasal passages released into my nose and I was able to blow it out, required much sudafed, inhalation and mostly ibuprofen and Tylenol because I get a severe sinus headaches from it, the first day really bad and painful but the next couple days even after doing everything still experiencing a constant low underlying headache which clearly was wearing me out. Today is the first day I actually feel relief. Blew a bunch a shit out of my nose and throat in a hot steamy shower, unclogged finally! I will continue on sudafed for the rest of the day until I go to bed then hopefully I can do without it after that, knocks me on my ass though, I hibernate like bear but it makes me dream like crazy and I feel it helps in the body healing process. First thing I noted was no cough or any other symptoms so not jumping the gun or being paranoid about Covid but at the same time need to be careful, don't want to be compromised by anything that might cause me to be even more susceptible to virus. Would not be the first time where I was sick and got through it only to be knocked on my ass by something even worse! But yeah, feeling much more like my old self which may never be GREAT these days but at least it allows me to be functional and for that I am thankful.
