Man I got a original XBOX recently, I admit I am not good at the details like FTP'ing and stuff but it came with a Matrix soderless modchip installed and I got to say I REALLY like it, from the emulators to the better than PS2 graphics and all the neat stuff you can do with it is friggin amazing. Yeah the DVd (Samsung) is flaky, sometimes doesn't want to eject but it works, I am trying the trick where with a power splitter from the hard drive supposedly you can use a PC DVD drive in at the same time, hopefully it works. looking forward to SHENMUE II on one DVD!

Man that ONYX looked pretty cool, but even cooler if iit was all black?

Well I am happy to say I just one one off CTCW, looks to be in great shape too!
This is my first 2600 compatible of anytype, well I have a Flashback II but this is my
first with a cartridge port!

I know it looks the same as the Atari 2800 released in Japan but this caught my eye recently, I just think it is a cool sleek look.

Here I look at the Atari Flashback II console, a modern remake of the classic Atari 2600 system.
As usual it's not perfect by any means but hopefully still entertaining for some!

Thank you! Great videos, I am interested in any Colecovision related hardware.

Very intersting, I always been interested in this ColecoVision compatible clone. That chip you mention that is not heat sinked? Maybe you should heat sink it as I have heard these systems to be very un-reliable and dying after continuous play, maybe that is the problem? Any chance you could post pics?

Dammit man! it's not fair you have such awesome modding skills! I am so jealous but congrats man, you do beautiful work!

Hey thanks for the info Star Raider!

Hmmmmmmmm, lots to think about, OK, let me change it up a bit, I am getting confused........................
I DON'T really care about being able to use th 2600 adaptor I mean I have a Colecovision so I could get the 2600 adaptor for that, or I might eventually get a 7800 or hell even a actual 2600, so I really don't see that as an issue...........
I have many friends but at my age none are really into gaming let alone Classic gaming so not likely anoyone but me will ever play it..........
Exactly how many and what games don't work with 2 port version? is it a deal breaker? Hmmmm...........
How hard is it to get (or do myself) the 4port BIOS on the 2 port system? Damn I am more undecided than ever!
I plan on getting a 5200 USB multicart so I think I would like all games compatible, I don't care if it's the weird AC adaptor / RF combo unit as long as it works?
OK, I think I am leaning towards a 4 port..................

It was the System Changer, NOT the ECS, that allowed Intellivision owners to play Atari 2600 games on that system.Uh DOH! Thanks for the correction! That is what I get going from memory!
I am fixing this right now as best I can, in Youtube I will add an Annotation that explains the error and on Facebook I added a comment as well!
I will be more careful in the future!

Good Job. I didn't realize the Intellivision II controllers were compatible with Atari controllers. Have you tried using an Atari controller to play Intellivision games or vice versa? (I picked up two Intellivision II's a while back, but never got either one to work; assume the 'chip that burns out' is burned out in both).Sorry I didn't mean to imply they are definitely compatible, it's more of an assumption, if anyone can confirm? Of course even if movement was compatible you might be screwed without keypad input?....................

Just wondering, I want to get one and I know there are some differences but if given the choice would you prefer the 2 or 4 port version?

Nice review! Very comprehensive, and a very nice score. Also, first post, congrats on joining atariage.Nathan
Thanks I plan on many more and including less well known or at least not the most common systems as they have been done to death.I try to do my videos the way I would like to see them with a little back history, a good look at the system and lastly a little feel for what it was like playing it!

If I have a C128 is there any need for a C64?

I owned a C64 like many back in the day, was just wondering, other than the collecting standpoint if I were to aquire a C128 first would there be any practical reason to still get a C64 afterwards? THANKS.
