!!!!!UPDATE!!!!!!! I couldn't help myself, I ordered one of those adaptors to allow using a Sega Genesis Gamepad. Figured even if the gamepad it comes with is crap then this will provide and option.

It's the Magnavox model and I think it's the better gamepad but I am not positive. I prefer the non-motorized cd trays on these older systems they tend to breakdown............

YES I am getting the - Digital Video Cartridge with it! Meant to mention in original post! Hell yeah you can expect avid or two in the future on this!

Just closed a deal on a sweet CDi package including: - Controller (Gamepad type controller NOT remote) - Hookups - Gun - book of CD-i backups (also left a few Jag CD discs in there...who knows, maybe someday you'll get a Jag CD and need games right?) - 9 DVDR set is iso's - 11 original game discs (8 titles total + 3 dupes) marked as demo discs, I understand these are a bit hard to come by. - 5 original retail games in cases - 1 original CD-i movie, "Addams Family" LOL! Well the collector side of me is stoked, of course most reviews and info on the net is not to positive regarding the machine that brought the worst Zelda games ever but I am looking forward to making my own MaximumRD video and TRY to put a positive spin on it heh!

It's very sturdy actually. Sure I would love a rare and exspensive JVC E'eye but I truly think it's the next best option, works great and in such a tiny little package, I look forward to adding a 32x at some point!

Sweet, thanks for the info. The 360 is the ONLY current gen console I am considering but I have NO interest in taking a console online or multiplayer............. Now if only there was a cheat device for the 360.........

Nope, the program is to transfer and organize the ROMS on the cart, then the cart is inserted into the console for play like normal, I believe all the info is on the site...........

I would if I didn't have 3 Dreamcasts already LOL! Need to get other stuff, good luck to you though!

Unfortunately no there's not . I wish there was, as I don't mind doing disk swaps ect. Actually, I just found out the japanese freeloader works for the games part. It doesn't, however, let you play american dvds. btw, still no one on assembler or aa that can help me out here :-/ That's cool, but just my opinion, unless the cube is your ONLY DVD player I personally would not waste it (IE: Wear it down) playing any movies on it. I mean it is a cool and somewhat rare machine so just save it for playing games..............

When he heard my recently aquired 520ST didn't work he sent me a FREE 1040STF (I just covered shipping!) what more do I need to say? He is awesome and just wants to give to the Atari community! Wow. you hit it HEAD ON for me too! For example I got a 3D0, OMG that was $700USD originally! Now having obtained it and playing many, many games on it, I AM SOOOOO GLAD I NEVER BOUGHT ONE LOL! Seriously back then all the hype of the graphics and multimedia capability blew me away but I could not begin to afford one and looking at it now, I am glad I couldn't. That said though yeah it is cool to recapture the fun you originally missed out on at a fraction of the price, even it it sucks at least it didn't cost nearly as much and you now have a collectable in the process! Win-Win all around!
