Nintendo 64 Classic Edition
OldSchoolRetroGamer replied to Trinity's topic in Classic Console Discussion
You know, I'd have scoffed at this not long ago BUT after seeing the recent announcement of the PlayStation Classic, a console that used disc based media I am not as skeptical that there may indeed be some merit to these Nintendo 64 Classic Edition rumors! Pretty sure the RARE titles will be tied up thanks to Microsoft but there could still be some nice titles included. Would love to see one personally ESPECIALLY if they managed to add a previously unreleased title like they did with the Snes classic Mini. N64 emulation is pretty good though I don't think quite up to the levels of Snes / Nes so if they do as as well with it as they did with the Snes / Nes versions that could be very well received. -
After the impeding apocalypse......maybe.......

PlayStation Classic Mini.

Late to the party friend http://atariage.com/forums/topic/283139-playstation-classic-mini-is-coming/ -
Calm down I never said any rule was broken did I? Still, when a first post is an Ebay link it is always suspect and has often in past proven to be exactly that, an attempt to stir up interest. If that is not the case this time then fine, carry on.......

Not sure NEW MEMBER.....trying to stir up interest by chance? An odd first post to make.......... I know you been here a while but this seems to be your first post.....

My Room of Complete Utter Nonsense.

Wow seems like retro heaven man! Nice setup, I am envious. Extra points for the BOOMBOX! Love it! -
Well, I wont speak to any of the points or info that the OP posted because frankly I don't need everything picked apart or denied as that seems it is all he does in every thread he starts..... Just adding a few of my own thoughts on the my experience on the CD-i in general that I posted elsewhere talking to a friend about our CD-i collections. I have a Magnavox top loader, I like it, I like 3DO more and the CD-i required the FMV module to make games look basically as good as the 3DO (the 3DO had a FMV module as well but it was only used for VCD movies) and sadly most CD-i systems are just ticking time bombs until the "timekeeper" module either leaks or fails and once that happens it not only loses time keeping but can lose the ability to even boot. There ARE videos and articles on replacing or even modding the timekeeper module but man the process is time consuming and a real pain for even those skilled at such mods. I no longer have the eye sight or the ambition. Sadly, I learned all this AFTER getting a pretty decent CD-i package, it is still working the last time I checked but I know it could go at anytime Bad design on Phillips part.

I been finding posts and topics to be really weird in these forums the last couple weeks

A strange game. The only winning move is not to play.
How about a nice game of Atari vs Intellivision?

Just caught THIS video. Not MINE but I thought some might be interested. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=imjx66eJvNo Modern Vintage Gamer Published on Sep 10, 2018 The classic2magic is a device that connects up to a SNES Classic Mini or NES Classic Mini and allows any region original Super Nintendo or Super Famicom cartridges to play on the SNES Classic. How well does it work? Check out my FULL review!

Coal in your stocking: Choose your punishment
OldSchoolRetroGamer replied to Ranger03's topic in Classic Computing Discussion
Oddly, I do NOT have a Sega Cd attachment, my Sega Cd playing is covered by emulation and for real hardware I have the tiny all in one Sega CDX and also a JVC X'Eye. Just to be clear, nothing I do have in my collection is for sale at this time. I DO need, and I mean absolutely NEED to thin and optimize my collection so some good hard thought needs to go into exactly what I really want to keep and what I am happy or at least willing to part with. The downside is, I have been saying this for years and it is a process I admittedly have been purposely avoiding. If and when such a time comes however, I can assure YOU and everyone else I will make it clear and obvious when the time comes as this forum will be the first place I will come to sell. Until then I am not entertaining any offers. -

I could not find it but finally figured it the right video, too late to add to my last post (the windows to edit has passed) but anyways.... Back in 2011 I did this unboxing for the Coleco Gemini that I received from TheGoldenAxe here on atariage. I was about 30 pounds heavier as well lol. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MIPwcdSTPuo

I picked one up some time ago, got a good deal (I don't recall details but I only would have taken a good deal) I would not say I am so much of a "fan" beyond wanting to add it too my collection of 2600 compatible consoles. Not in the greatest shape appearance wise but works at least. Of course like most of my collection it has been sitting dormant and unloved for probably too long now. I always plan so much when I pick up these things until life and priorities interfere. Anyway I DO like the history between Coleco and Atari that resulted in this and the 2600 adapter for ColecoVision. Dec 2014 - Here you can see the rough shape of my Gemini, in fact I show a bent pin "repair" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P1l0CijVXOw Here is a nice lot of Gemini controllers I got previously in 2011, I HAVE YET to actually do anything with them lol. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-U1mIORSyyw

HIS ROOMMATE DARED HIM TO FIND A BUYER WHO DOES NOT NEED PICTURES OR FEEDBACK / REFERENCES OR EVEN PROOF ITEM EXISTS FROM A NEW FORUM USER ! -
