  1. Here my son is getting his 5200 and Adventure II for Christmas! Here you can see him getting Frog Feast Limited #5. http://frogfeast.rastersoft.net/2Year.html Too bad he's not more expressive!
  2. I tried running it through my VCR even as coax out with no luck. My Sony surround decoder has video switching so I'll try that next. Last I'll try it on a crt TV. My 47" Vizio LCD says it's displaying at 480i 60hz
  3. Breakout 2000 is the most popular with my guests!
  4. No party for the Bubster? Love this! Ok, Tempest 2K, networked Doom (though it has problems still fun) Networked Battlesphere (if you can swing that), Raiden <--- , Kasumi Ninja, Club Drive, Brutal Sports Football <---- ... And then beyond that, there are those that I have not tried so much, like Total Carnage should be a lot of fun (that is simo two player, Ultra Vortek, Power Drive Rally, etc etc I have had hours of fun with the ones I listed though.
  5. I finally found one and love it, but..... Most of the games have severe graphics problems. In Asteroids you can either see the asteroids or your ship, but not both. In missile Command you can't see all the missiles. It's like a graphic layer is missing. Any ideas or do I take it back and begin the search again?
  6. I did a CD+G scrolling text demo, with music, awhile back, and a picture slideshow. I'll have to dig them out. How about making a tutorial on making CD+G slideshows?
  7. The CD would be my choice to open and player, since it has an additional music track to listen to (in an Audio CD player). I did not know that! I guess I have to try it in my CD player now!
  8. There were only five with the serial # displayed on the start screen. The rest are all identical to each other.
  9. Well; I think I did pretty good on two hats, two bags and four pins. Maybe these aren't worth as much as the games, in his opinion. I have NO complaints about GoAtari.
  10. Yep. My confidence is not inspired.
  11. Thanks for sharing your excitement about the Atari Jaguar! I enjoyed your video! It is obvious that you have a great passion for your new system! As said before, order your games online. www.goatari.com www.myatari.com These sites will get you started quickly. Have fun!
  12. I know you know this, but other people will search their way to this thread eventually: ALWAYS MAKE SURE THE POLARITY OF THE POWER SUPPLY TIP IS EXACTLY CORRECT! Plug in the wrong one and your Jaguar is instantly dead!
  13. 850 ma should do just fine. I've used 500ma short-term with no ill effects. For the CD add-on, I won't go lower than 375ma.
  14. I just hit the thrift shops and find a compatible adapter when I need one. Goatari also puts them on ebay often.
  15. Thanks for taking the time to converse with us!
  16. The frogs swim back to a pad. No bypass cart is needed.
  17. I'd love to buy CD add-on cases as well!
  18. Jaguar fans get harsh because we get too many false promises. It isn't always someone goading us intentionally. Many people come up with great ideas and want to share their excitement. Then nothing happens! Don't take it personally. We are all just grouchy, old nerds!
  19. How many depends on how much. Clear: $10, I'd buy 20 $15 I'd buy 10 $20 I'd buy 4 $30 I'd buy 2 $40 I'd buy 1 > $40 I'd buy 0
  20. Combat Night Driver Star Raiders Star Master Breakout/Super Breakout Venture Asteroids The Earth Dies Screaming Space Invaders Space War Indy 500 Frogger
  21. Starcastle would be cool. I'd rather have a faithful recreation, but the vector graphics wouldn't work well. I still have the board from the Starcastle I had in high school.
