SS4U = You will spend too much money on his stuff. He will bid against you to keep you from getting a good deal elsewhere. He is likely to send it to you in an envelope instead of a box. He holds your feedback hostage. I personally got a broken CD unit from him, but repaired it myself. His arrogant personality would keep me from peeing on him even if he was on fire! Other than that, I see no reason not to give him your money.

The frame rates suck and the textures are alcking, but if you go into mst jaguar games knowing this, you'll love most of the 3D ones...the concepts were excellent....even with the bad production, they are fun games. Steve, you are hitting all best features that make Jag games so charming!

http://stores.ebay.com/direct-4-games_Atar...0QQftidZ2QQtZkm Watch this seller and buy up! Remember that you will pay full shipping on each game, so watch what you spend!

T2K! To start with. Breakout 2000 rocks, but is quite spendy. Iron Soldier will take up some time for you and can be had for a fair price. Atari Karts is a lot of fun and can be had affordably if D4G is still having their fire sale on Ebay.

Find a friend with a non-trendy PC and use Discjuggler. Discjuggler has worked flawlessly for my Jag CD's! -
Jaguar, unless you use the SNES or 5200 power supply!

What speed are you burning at? Set it to the lowest and try again. -
What did I do? Now the posts in a topic appear in outline form. How do I change back to seeing full replies?

You need a couple beers to keep you from thinking so much!

I don't see a Dreamcast! You are missing an important system in your collection Nice collection!

Jaguar wins! Jag against Strawberry Shortcake, though? You can't beat that strawberry smell!

I already made peace with them both!.... or is that pieces? http://www.atariage.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=100324

So can the Jaguar display right to an arcade monitor? I'd love to add that to one of my cabs!

Our local used bookstore seems to price all Jaguar games at $6 each. I got AvP Boxed Zool2 Boxed Dino Dudes Boxed T2K all $6 each. The guy at the counter doesn't even know what a Jaguar is.

It would make me play the game 10000X more!

Gorf is just an unofficial homebrew release?
Broonale replied to thomasholzer's topic in Atari Jaguar
Vic-20 Gorf was AWESOME! I spent so much of my time playing that! I saved up the money to buy the Vic-20 on my own and loved every minute I spent on it! I really enjoyed the 80 Character/line mod that the modem software included! I spent countless hours writing my own games on that thing. Kids now really aren't interested in doing any of the work themselves. My son uses Click 'N Play to write his own games and Maya to make 3D drawings, but isn't interested in actual code. -
Got my BRAND NEW LYNX I from Best Electronics today!

Very nice! Where's the pics? -
I don't have any Jag CD's left to sell. These are the last of them as far as I can see. 4 are in use and 2 I am holding in case my nephews actually get interested in the system. I sold quite a few earlier this year(around 25 or so, I didn't keep track). Even if Goatari puts more broken ones up, I can't buy them because SS4U will bid any amount necessary to keep me from getting them so he can keep his pricing up! It was great while it lasted!

Open the lid to remove the top disc. Slide the disc back and remove it. Turn it over and make sure the washer isn't falling out like it is in the pic. Press it back in. Slide the disc back into the lid washer side up.

It sounds like your spindle may be too far up. Tap it very lightly a little at a time and re-test after each tap. Also, check the disc in the lid. Take it out and make sure the washer is snapped in fully.
