it is a nintendo adapter it does have an output of 9v but 1.3 amps, no the NES doesn't reset itself the game just blinks. How do you disable the lockout chip asnd what is the purpose?

i'm using the adapter that came with it. I'm guessing it's the original one that came with it.

I just recieved a NES that I bought online at EBAY and I had the power button flashing problem I ended up getting a new 72-pin and installed it that fixed the power light problem. Now when I play the games start and the graphics are fine but every 10-20-30 seconds the my TV screen blinks or "skips" and then it goes back to the game. I don't know whats wrong or what I can do to fix it. If anyone knows what I can do the help would be appreciated.
