  1. I don't trust morons on EBay.

I suggest you re-think this attitude. You are cutting out the best source for Atari collectors. Keep in mind that although there are occassional problems with ebay sellers, the vast majority of transactions are completed and for reasonable prices (I have received 100% of items I have paid for). Simply put, there is no other real alternative for many collectors.

  2. I usually just snag the cart images here at AA

Well I did just that and doh! it worked amazingly well - most excellent! They look too big on the monitor but come out on the printer very close to actual size. A little cutting to size and glue stick and its done. I don't think someone would notice the 'reproduction' label on a casual examination. So if you need a new label try this first.

  3. I came across a new joystick I have never seen before - an Epyx 500XJ, that has a switch for autofire on it. Highly recommended for Defender or other games that don't have built-in autofire (especially for the $3 I paid). It also has A & B fire buttons, so I thought it might work on the 7800, but it doesn't.

  4. we might be having this meet in seattle not kirkland WA. this year! so that might bring more people in later in the afternoon..

My vote: Seattle, that way us out-of-towners can combine the event with a look around the Pike Place market

  5. Well after 3 months and countless excuses, often contradictory, I have sadly left my first negative feedback on Ebay for this seller. I gave him plenty of opportunity to confirm that the item was shipped, or send a refund. He has done nothing but offer excuses. Oh well, maybe the next buyer will notice all the negatives he has received in the last month. Is there any other recourse I have available?

  6. The latest possum-glory lame excuse e-mail - stay tuned for more updates! (now almost 3 months post-auction):

I would have liked to have been able to have seen and replied to your message sooner, but Christmas has had me ALL tied up...UGH! I found out why the numbers did not work, The Post Office has informed me that USPS tracking numbers are for use within the USA ONLY and WILL NOT WORK on shipments to other countries! I mean, it looks like they could have told me this ahead of time, (unless the desk clerk didn't know either, a distinct possibility). The good news is that your order is now correctly on the way to you and should be arriving ANYTIME after navigating customs and the Christmas Crunch. What I can do is take a picture of the USPS Receipt for that item and email it to you to show you that it is on the way if you like, or if you want you can call me on my portable phone and I will try to assure you that everything is all right. Thank very much and have a Merry Christmas, and please, don't leave bad feedback as these delays were unintentional and I would've prevented it if I could've.

    Thanks,

    possum-glory@usa.com

  7. the 'new and improved latest excuse' e-mail from possum-glory (now over two months waiting), after I noted the tracking number provided was invalid (another bad sign):

    Hi,

The tracking number I gave you for your Ebay order may have been incorrect, please use this one instead at www.usps.com if the other one does not work. (It's one or the other).

    Thanks very much.
