  1. if you're willing to pay the price, you can always get yourself any of the shows that Creative Engineering produced here: http://www.robotsandgames.com/. While they aren't exactly the Chuck E. Cheese robots (it is the Rock A Fire Explosion animatronics that were later converted into Chuck E Cheese characters when Show Biz Pizza got remodeled into more Chuck E Cheese restaurants). Not sure if those are the robots you are talking about or if you are looking for the true, original chuck e cheese animatronics.

If the animatronics you are thinking of ARE the converted ones, I think you might be SOL - I was informed by the tech guy at my local Chuck E Cheese's that any of the animatronic shows that are taken out of commission now are distributed to other functional shows for spare parts (and trust me - the one in my town REALLY needed spare parts after 20 years of service with very little maintenance)

Not sure if this helps or not, but good luck! I've always been interested in animatronics.

Thanx Atariman! I did find Creative Enigineering's site last night and my idea was a bit crushed when I found out that they sell them easily for $100,000. Which is out of my ballpark. I was basically looking for any leads on older broken characters for cheaper prices...whether it be Chuck E Cheese, Rock-A-Fire Explosion, Major Magic's etc etc. I collect vintage toys and carnival pieces....it would be a nice addition.

  2. This is funny because I'm originally from Michigan....I've been to Marvelous Marvin's Mechanical Museum a million times and I know he has some old Chuck E Cheese characters in the cieling ledge. That Major Magic's idea sounds great...but I can't seem to track anything down ????? As for Marvin, I will try. Any other leads??
