  1. Is there a list? I really don't want to miss out on this release.
  2. How is this release going to work exactly? Preorders for real or will it be first come first serve announced on day of release?

    Heretic

using the Shareware IWAD commercially still violates the Doom Source License as its still using ID's art assets and code. It can only ever been freeware. Zenimax would probably be less cool about it then ID would if they caught wind of it.
  4. Ok, this just proves how stupid some collectors are when they have been publicly released FOR FREE. Hell if you follow any of the major sources for news on the Jag you're bound to find out about the games and where to get them FOR FREE. CyranoJ should put a nice big disclaimer before the menu screen loads that the game was released to the public thats if he ever decides to continue in light of this.... Some of those very old BJL demos are on all kinds of websites and have been for a very long time.
  5. The game would have to be about being a new dev trying to make a game for the Jag and posting way too soon about it and having to survive the Jaguar community.
  6. With the price this game demands you'd think you could find enough interested people presently to feasibly do another run of the KA version. Whats the reasoning against it? Up front cost? Perceived lack of demand even with astronomical ebay prices? Or is it that the people who would have to allow it don't want to? It just seems wrong that a fixed version of this game exists but is either gathering dust in somebodies collection or flipped by used game resellers over and over.
  7. You'll be waiting awhile, I got on the list right after they closed preorders, it took over a year to get one and that was only because somebody hadn't claimed theirs from the 1st run AND my name came up next on the list. At this point its purely luck and where your place is on the waiting list.
  8. Yeah, considering they unearthed the fabled ET burial site and those 33 year old cartridges still work...
  9. Seems like quite a few start up devs that initially targeted 3DO but then jumped to PSX. Insomniac Games were initially going to make their first game for the 3DO but then decided to develop Disruptor for PSX.
  10. So glad they went that route, didn't want to be left in the dust again because somebody very late to game just stumbled upon it.
  11. Actually they do, Its a subsidiary of Warner Brothers. it is a combination of WB Games Chicago and Midway.
  12. Would never happen, an similar attempt was made to get Gorf reprinted but licensed from Midway and they didn't want to take the risk due to no guarantees against rampant piracy. WB would be even more stingy with IPs then Midway was.
  13. Hows about a 4mb optimized skunkboard rom for us owners of the CD with a rev 1 Skunk? that can't play the 6mb rom?
  14. The later levels require you to memorize where things are because if you miss something or do the wrong thing you usually can't go back and have to restart the level.
  15. With all that Jag Powah coursing through it, it'd probably pop.
  16. 2 now, it was 3 when I placed my order.
  17. I'd be down for one if you haven't reached a maximum limit yet.
  18. http://atariage.com/forums/topic/235430-how-has-this-not-been-posted-yet-retro-vgs/
  19. http://retrogamingmagazine.com/2015/02/18/new-hardware-retro-video-game-system-in-development/ While not Jag devs, they list a couple indie devs towards the bottom and it mentions Konami may be involved in some game development which is odd.
  20. Hows that gonna work? First come first serve basis again? I'd really like to get one since I had been on the waiting list for the 3rd run you cancelled.
  21. Another prime example of how cheap the Tramiel's were... I recall some article somewhere that had Sam complaining that they needed to lend a demo unit to a game magazine so they could actually review games.
  22. That looks similar to the super cheap Universal AC adapter I bought brand new from a used game store for $10 thats for Genesis and NES.. it felt hollow and cheap. I wouldn't use that there's no telling if the rating will shift with a cheap Universal AC (which I had happen once but luckily not enough to cause damage). If you must go the RF route, you should just get an RF Switch, anyone will work if you have any from any other old consoles.
  23. Would I be able to just get some cartridge shells or is this a package deal only (as in can't buy one without buying the other)?
