  1. hmm.. you all make complaints about what this guy wrote yet your doing the same thing, I don't know why you all have to be so hard on the Game.com.. I loved the Game.com, now it's no gameboy and the games could have been programmed alot better BUT RE2 for the Game.com was amazing, what did Gameboy get? RE Gaiden. And.. don't be so quick to bash the Hyperscan, the system has only just entered the market. Wait till they pull the plug before you call it a total failure.
  2. you can't pick on the R-Zone, it's an LCD GAME "CONSOLE".. comparing it to other game consoles is rather unfair. Gotta give the Channel F some credit, it did bring cartridge gaming to the industry.
  3. Screw those EBay re-sellers. They make console launchs tougher for people who actually want to play the new consoles. Ebay resellers are just another lowly form of Scalper. God forbid anybody actually pay the retail price on a PS3 at launch Definately, screw the re-sellers You know MSRP stands for Manufacturer's SUGGESTED Retail Price, right? It's not a law written in stone. The fact that there's never more than a dime of deviation from that price tells you one thing: Sony/MS/Nintendo is price-fixing, ensuring these insane launch-day blitzes happen with every new piece of hardware. I APPLAUD the eBay resellers. At least SOMEONE is getting paid what the systems are actually perceived as being worth. It's just a pity that it's not the retailers saddled with games and accessories they can't move because no one owns the system. God forbid that supply and demand actually be allowed to WORK. Scalping is illegal and re-selling a launch system for 120%-150% more then the MSRB is scalping. By buying up most of the system just to sell them on ebay for more profit is wrong. Nobody actually owns the system who is selling it right now, their selling PIECES OF PAPER.. at $2000+ you have to be a total jackass to think thats ok.

  5. Don't blame EB, it's all SONY, it's called Artificial Demand... they promise retailers a set amount then before launch cut the number of units in half. It's a cheap ass business tactic, I'd expect as much from Sony..
  6. I didn't realize they made a Mask of Zorro game, nice find. The Mega Screen was nothing more then an inverted slide projector, it was an interesting idea but really just novelty. The only game I had that came with a Mega Screen slide was Area 51. Have any scans of that Mask of Zorro/Headset pack?
  7. I remember the ads, it was clearly advertised as an LCD game machine...
  8. I got one of those back in the day when it was still marketed hah hah.. it wasn't a bad idea and some of the games had decent sound for LCD games. You really can't call the games poorly done... there is only so much you can do with LCD, and when you fired the thing up all the frames would glow for a second, they used EVERY inch of the LCD. I had Area 51 for it which was nicely done if not rediculously difficult. Also had Batman Forever, Virtual Fighter, and Mortal Kombat 3
  9. I think you could only say it's not a true new console if it were an actual upgrade to the GameCube you could buy seperately. Because it is it's own "entity" it'd definately be classified as a new console.
  10. I remember a thread I came across on here that over 3 years old, some guy was trying to (maybe he succeeded, I doubt it..) buy the rights for Thea, don't have a clue whatever happened to that plan. The choppy animation from the videos of it kinda ruined the awe of it.. but that could have been fixed.
  11. Well to have a truly complete collection you would, good job though.
  12. Kasumi would have been a great game if they had sped it up, replaced the crappy midi music (The Scottish Stages bagpipes were a travesty) and fixed some of the collision problems, otherwise it's a good game if not mostly flawed. Ultra Vortek shows how it should have been done. The dorky chinese announcer we could do without lol...
  13. Your missing the two Pocket Pro Models W/ Backlight and later release sans Backlight
  14. It does work on the PS2. I play it all the time. The only problem is that the game locks up if you let the continue timer run down to zero. You must have a later PS2 model. The first few runs before they worked out alot of PS1 emulation incompatibilities couldn't run several PS1 games including MK Trilogy.
  15. Is this another crappy NES-on-a-Chip from HK or does it have actual GG hardware in it?
  16. I've done business with them on multiple occasions, no problems whatsoever.
  17. From what I read it's ALOT more customizable then the SC3 create a character, you can change every aspect of the character including the bust size of the female characters lol
  18. So how many of you are basing your opinions on it from actually playing it or from this one review?
  19. Yeah those controllers did look like crap, are the controller ports DIN? they look like DIN from the screen shots I've seen. What kind of drive is it sporting? Makes me think of the NeoGeo CD and it's terribly slow loading
  20. Jag owners are insane - two words - Battle Sphere. And the strange cult it's developed. Yeah, you'd have to be insane to spend that much on ONE game. Thats why I never got it and probly never will.
  21. I remember picking one up for 10, brand new in the box from GoAtari a couple years ago. I still hear the standards will sell for 15 brand new, that controller won't sell unless the bidder is an idiot.
  22. That assumes that they can drop the price. These cards seem to contain an RFID chip, and who knows how much that chip costs. So it's unclear to me how much lower they could really drop the price even if they wanted to....it will be a big problem for Mattel if they can't, IMHO. It seems to me if Mattel were smart they would drop the card thing and start developing games that don't use cards. Question is, are they that smart? Well their using Passive RFID, it could be as low as 5 cents per chip seeing as the technology is almost the same as the security devices used at WalMart and ToysRus, just alittle more sophisticated and probly hold alot more data
  23. Honestly, if nobody goes for the $10/pack they will drop the price. I wonder if they actually did a market test on this :/ I can see some great potential, but I just don't see 3rd parties signing up for this lol Hell.. Capcom could make a killing if they brought a Mega Man Battlenetwork game to it, or Yu Gi Oh even (blech!).. that makes more sense if they wanna get anywhere with it. Some original titles would be nice too if it doesn't flop.
