  1. Ya well when you are 9 you have a lot of free time and can focus 100% of your energy on a videogame...lol This is not a game you can just pick up and play and breeze through. It takes quite a bit of work and many parts are quite tedious and frustrating. The Musical themed Levels x.X I havn't played it in a long time but I remember they gave the most difficulty for me :/
  2. I'd rather see Capcom VS Fast Food or better yet... a Mortal Kombat rip off lol.. I could just imagine the background fatality in McDonald Land.. upcut them into a lake of frying oil Shove burgers down someones throat at a quickening pace until the victim explodes into small chunks. The Lineup lol: Jerod from Subway, BK King, Ronald McDonald, Mayor McCheese, the pirate from mcdonalds back in the day, Undead Dave Thomas, That stupid mit from the Hardee's Commercials, Colonal Sanders Ghost, Hamburgler, The Burger King Kids Club should be a hidden tag team character lol.. I'd pay for that.
  3. I'd rather see Capcom VS Fast Food or better yet... a Mortal Kombat rip off lol.. I could just imagine the background fatality in McDonald Land.. uppercut them into a lake of frying oil
  4. Chex Quest was actually good (Since it was built with the Doom engine with very few changes), I still have a shrinkwrapped CD of it lol
  5. Don't forget Global Gladiators for Genesis lol.. fighting slime monsters and collecting golden arches made no sense whatsoever
  6. I'd love to see the Super Giana Sisters on the virtual console (maybe even the Super Mario Bros hack but thats too much wishful thinking x) )
  7. I havn't been able to acquire one of Starcats Dev CD's, where can I get one? You can order it here: Starcat Developments products Please don't forget that using this CD is just a matter of convenience, it contains a collection of files which you might find (or could have found) at several places on the internet too, like the basic Jag-DevKit which you can find for example on Michael (Belboz) Hill's Atari-page. Best regards Matthias Thanks alot Matthias!
  8. Rayman came out first on the Jag AND really showed the critics that the Jag was capable of lots of vivid colors I'd say it's a must have for any Jag owner. For $10 I'd say you can't go wrong just to add it to your collection. It had sound and is very playable, it's just not gonna have the CD quality music of the PSX and Saturn versions.
  9. yes, it does work. verry smooth controlls to And gentle 2-ply action Don't foget it's also made of space age Cardboardium
  10. Thats so ghetto lol, awesome! ALOT more ghetto then the NeoGeo AES controllers I made (MadCatz PS1 pads and 15DB MidiCables) 2 years ago
  11. For Mortal Kombat I could definately help with that I've worked with the graphics before just to see how it's put together but I'm not too familair with what from the Arcade version the Jag could handle (Sprite Size, Color, Resolution, Memory,etc...) I think their should be some Jag exclusives if Memory is available
  12. Nice comeback potsy.. you can't hold the developer of a product responsible for the misuse by the consumer. Just because it could be used for illegal use does not make the device itself Illegal, your statement WOULD NOT hold up in court. It's laughable to think that you actually think that the current holders of the Atari rights would actually take anybody to court over games that many of which Atari licensed themselves, it would cost way too much and would not prove feasible since all Atarigrames cares about is their current licenses and saving their failing finances. People on Ebay have beein breaking copyright laws for years and how many of them have been brought to court? The CF is gonna come out no matter what you or the other small percentage of those against it say, it's a free market and Jagware can release whatever they want as long as their not directly breaking any laws which they are not. Theres really no point in arguing anymore because nobody is ever gonna agree because everybody is so pigheaded about it, this kind of stuff is what will really kill the Jaguar, the internal strife.
  13. I don't think you'll be seeing that "Made in America" slogan anywhere on this thing.... Oh I know, especially when I see an American flag and see "Made in Mexico" printed on it....
  14. The JagCF is like virtually any other technology ever developed in the fact that it's dual use. How it is used depends upon the user of the technology. Nobody was ever jailed for buying a CDRW to play games. The is nothing illegal about the proposed JagCF, that's just BullSh*t And as far as other certain 'well known developers' it would seem the ones who are most often treated as some kind of idols, have long abandoned the platform. Let new people join the development party with an affordable and available dev kit... Exactly! We also might as well (according to MegaData) put everyone who invented the internet and uses it since it makes piracy just as easy in jail as well Lets put all the companies that make VCRs, MiniDisc players, CD-Rom drives, Burners and blank discs, Tape Cassette Decks and microphones, lets sue the decendents of Thomas Edison for making phonograph and wax cylinder technology, what about punch cards??? Somebody could copy your data with a hole punch *gasp* hell lets sue anybody whos ever made devices that could hold data of any kind... It's just plain ignorant to blame the maker of a product that could be used for any kind of illegal use even more so to blaim anybody who might wants to use said product.
  15. I think GT Turbo said the lock out feature would be an option for future developers who wish it, so I don't think games that were made before the CF is released could possibly have a lock out (Unless GT adds something to stop the cartridge itself from booting those games)
  16. Well I doubt if it flops it's gonna put a hole in Mattels pocket so it's a novel approach to try and get their foot back into the gaming scene, I'd love to see a next-gen Intellivision console though lol. Another non-japanese video game system would be great since Microsoft is the only one since Atari and 3DO left the biz :/ I especially miss seeing "Made in America" printed on video games.
  17. You mention Amiga games along with ST games being capable of being disassembled then reassembled to work on the Jag on your website, does this mean Amiga Mortal Kombat II could be revamped to run on a Jag? I was always pissed about the Jag never getting a MK game when they could have easily licensed MK3 from Williams (I know it was listed on the tentative Jag game list but I always read from sources saying it was or that wasn't :/ I really don't know what the case was) If it's possible to rework the Amiga version with better sprites and animated backdrops (Amiga version had static backdrops ) it'd be sweet if you ask me Wish I could get BeOS: PE to boot up, I wanna check out your tool set.
  18. Whoops lol.. I didn't realize this post was 2 years old, my bad...
  19. I've read about them, their definately PAL-M only They wouldn't work on most NTSC TV's
  20. Huh.. I didn't realize their already was a topic on this before I posted.. http://www.atariage.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=91598
  21. Hasn't anybody noticed that Ben10 isn't a fighting game? It's a side scroller so theirs potential for more, I'd wait and see until it's actually released before fully judging it's potential, I would think it could appeal to the more classic audience with it's graphics capabilities being for 2D games, I'm gonna wait and see, it intrigues me.
  22. Hey has anybody seen this? Hyper Scan. It's apparently made by Mattel according to the legal stuff, while the games themselves look like any other plug-n-play 16-bit game on the market (the rendering of the sprites is quite nice actually but the animation is kinda choppy), it had CD-Rom media and also uses scannable cards to add extra stuff to gameplay, this looks interesting if a novelty. Wonder what kind of cpu it uses :/
  23. Which of the Klik products are you using? I have Click & Create, The Games Factory, and Multimedia Fusion. All three will compile for Vitalize, but also allow you to build a standalone executable that can be played as long as a CNC32.dll or CNCS32.dll is in the same directory or is in the Windows/System folder. MMF 1.5, I know about Stand Alone Apps, but for the purpose of sharing my work so far I created a Net App for it. If their not willing to download a single plugin I doubt anybody but the Klik community would be interested in downloading a stand alone app of my game :/
  24. Well, as long as it's psudo 3D ish like that type of raceing game, instead of a top down game. Actually, I'd be happy to get a copy of the game for $60, since I useually see it for more on the $90 range. Maybe I'll swing by ebay again, i'ts been oever a year since I tried getting that one. Hey, Songbird could try to hack Doom into a Doom 2 cart, that would be awesome (Won't happen, but would be cool) It could happen if 1) Someone cracks the Jagdoom.wad and find or creates an editor. 2) They put it on either a CD or the yet to be released CF cart. I'd rather see Doom+ which I doubt is even in the works anymore :/
  25. Uh.. I do believe Flash and Java are both plug-ins you need to install as well. The media I used for the game doesn't have any other option then Vitalize. And for the record it doesn't muck with your browser, it just allows a webapplet to interpret an ccn file just like any Java app utilizes a jar file or a flash application with flash.
