I had thought about doing it but I had been hesitant. I figured the Intellivision one I made would be very nichey but if there's reasonable demand for a Coleco one I'll make it.

I'm selling some shirts on RedBubble, they're minimalistic retro game console designs I had been working on (2-3 color line drawings using shirt color as a 3rd or 4th color). Yeah, that was the only artwork I could find at the time, I ended up completely redrawing that one because the resolution was so low for the screen shot I found. I still have a few of these full sets printed, but maybe if I happen to get a few more orders of these, I'll take a look into changing that one. Also having that on one line may not look right with the tongue curved with the top of the cartridge, but you never know! I designed the box, label and manual (though it wasn't included with the original run of cartridges). I have the original files including the title used on the box and label.

I notice you used the title screen Frog Feast logo. From a design stand point I think that one is too crowded for the format you chose. There is the cover art Frog Feast title that is in an entirely horizontal format that I think works better.

He did ask people to send him fair price offers - when they didnt match eBay prices he pretty much called everyone crazy for their 'fair price' offers. Unless he posts the price he really wants you'll be playing the 'Thats a ridiculously low offer' game with him until you get near the 350K mark. Yeah, I wish Curt could of gotten that out also the Flashback portable. I know very little about the attempted FS3 project, but I know that the FB2 hit the nail right on the head. I wonder how it faired commercially? That might be a good indicator of how a future dedicated console would perform in the marketplace with the right support. And if the FB2 was the "real thing" in terms of 2600, then why not a cartridge port on that or a future dedicated console? Well seeing as Atari had Curt's company produce a limited run of Flashback 2+'s there is some demand.. so much so that the original Flashback 2 was actually counterfeited. I really think at least the Flashback Portable would have been just as successful.

Just acquired a SMS with a bunch of games however its missing its face plate. Anybody know where I could get a replacement face plate or if anybody has a busted SMS I could buy off of them? Thanks.

You can only take anything said about the Jag with a grain of salt. It's become the system everybody loves to hate and has been consecutively used as the butt of every bad video game joke. Most people who have created these lists and articles that totally pan it have for the most part not really sat down and played any of the games. The Jag has some weak games, thats a known but so do every other game system. Its just because of Atari's utter lack of business sense and the handicaps to the devs because of the programming road blocks that we saw so many 16-bit ports and games that ran like crap. Had they gotten more 3rd Party devs on board things would probably have been much different. As for a game that deserves it's bad rep, Double Dragon V is a really bad game and everyone who has said it was bad is speaking the truth.

Where are you importing from? I've been trying to find a place to buy one of these for years now. I had thought they had discontinued this in favor of that NES on a chip Handy Game.

I can only think of a 3D fighter called Killing Zone by Naxat but that was on PSX only. I can't think of any other fighting game with a medusa character with a serpentine lower body in anything older. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Killing_Zone

weird.. is that an DB15HD connector?

I recently killed my Colecovision and havn't been able to fix it so i'm in the market for a replacement. If anybody is looking to sell one please send me a PM.

Hyperkin's is suppose to support software dev (with the Firebox Diamond at least), but the SD card was intended for the release of new digital games (with SEGA on board supposedly). The Nomad can't play SMS games, the Power Base converter doesn't work with it because the circuit for switching it to run via the Z80 wasn't present.

That's actually a ripoff of the Hyperkin version which is the one with the SD card capability. I just looked up Hyperkin and found their site but no Sega handheld. There's an NES one but with no SD card compatibility. look under Media, they havn't released it yet so it's not listed under products.

um.. the the SNES version is called Dracula XX which was released as Dracula X in the states, and it's an entirely different game. your referring to Akumajo Dracula X: Chi No Rondo which was for the PC Engine Super CD2 (Turbo Grafx 16 Super CD2 in the states)
