Honestly I don't see what use the WebTV peripheral would be, most if not everybody already has an internet connection of some sort, most a lot faster then what the device would have done, it'd be like a novelty item at the most. The Jag 2 would be nice but yet another novelty item as developers would need to learn all over again to get any power out of it and then new titles would trickle in at a slow pace making the item itself just a fancy conversation piece that plays original Jag games. the Jag VR as I believe somebody else pointed out would be way too expensive to produce in sizeable quantities. Some new Catbox/Scatbox like devices would be useful though but I voted for a new run of Battlesphere as what the jag really needs is games.. not novelty peripherals that we don't really need.

WOW! Just beat the game on Ninja God mode...um...yeah!I lost the first time cause for some reason everytime I went to WALK to Gyaku I jumped and then he'd fireball me. Second time...he paid the price! And WOW was Demon Gyaku super easy!
Actually, I found the game TOO EASY even on Ninja God mode. Oh well, still fun! And I LOVE the ending after finishing off Demon Gyaku! *Looks for my shrine*. Anyways, is the "other ending" that I've read about any good? Apparently you're supposed to get an alternate ending if you DON'T finish off Gyaku. Don't spoil it, but is it good or crappy?
WTF!? Easy?? The CPU is so cheap, particularly Gyaku

If your buying stuff off Ebay don't indulge SweetsStuff4u with your business, he's a parasite that needs to be crushed.

actually 2 levels we could of had <.< and another that didn't make it into Ultra Vortek..I'm not completely posotive, but I think that Ultra Vortek level is indeed in the final game, but it's a "hidden" level that can only be accessed when choosing levels in the two-player mode.
As far as I know theirs only 2 hidden levels: The Hidden Temple (which looks like an alien world) and the passage behind the subway where you fight Carbon. If the Canyon is still in there somewhere then it hasn't been found yet.

Jaysmith has a Japanese AVP which was bundled with the Japanese Jaguar so I'd say ask him about it.

VESwiki has reappeared at a new address:thanks for the update! If I ever get the time to work on my program I'll be sure to take a look

Also, from the size of it, it looks like they built the case around the complete motherboard. Same with the N64 I posted. Ben puts a lot of effort into cutting and rewiring the boards to make them as small as possible.Pretty cool. I wonder if its any relation to thishttp://www.engadget.com/2006/10/27/ben-hec...e-atari-jaguar/
It's not ugly enough to be a Ben Heck creation
Yeah, Ben does great work but their still not the prettiest things.

ive been outbid
terrible.....,but cool stuff indeed!!
Don't you have more Jaguar kiosks than there are actual Jaguar fans? Go shake your Jaguar money tree harder!

LOL..not yet,but maybe oneday
......... i guess i could shake on that money tree a bit harder, but i might have to break off a branch if i want to win that portable
Cheap bastard

How many mortgages does buddy have to take out to feed his Jaguar needs? The world may never know.

What was Demon Gyaku's finishing move again? Was he spitting flames or something? I don't even remember. Did normal Gyaku (he was so cool :-)) even have a finishing move? He'd knock his opponent down then walk up and rip their head off. Human Gyaku can do both Senzo and Habaki's finishing moves.
-
OH! I have seen that screen.. it was in several ads I've seen in EGM's and Gamepros early into the Jag's life cycle. The guy in green doesn't resemble anybody in the final game, I wonder who that is.
-
The Atari Jaguar box also has a image of a stage that isn't in the game. Why!White ninja would've been cool :-).
Habaki was a horrible ninja by the way. They are supposed to be stealthy, undetectable by enemies... Why was he in orange? It doesn't make any sense. His finishing move was cool though. Chagi's was the best.
Interesting, I'll have to look for a scan. I bet the original costume was red, thats how they did costumes for the purpose of palette swapping. Habaki should have been Red, since Green is it's complimentary.
The palette swaps wouldn't have been a problem if they had done it like MK (I.E. each ninja had a different stance and a unique move set (minus Smoke and Noob Saibot (MKII)) But to make the Sub Boss a Palette Swap with the same moves as the player characters was cheap. I do believe Gyaku can do both Senzo and Habaki's fatalities, at least his demon form had a sweet one xD

actually 2 levels we could of had <.< and another that didn't make it into Ultra Vortek..Score, thanks for the pic.
Perhaps my lighting if off, but what character is that in UV!?

Lucius I believe

That KN screen on the left (w/ the cat-creature/statues) isn't in the final game?Swear I saw it...
The dragons were recycled in the Dojo stage you can only fight on in VS and the floor was used for Gyaku's stage.

http://www.atariage.com/forums/index.php?s...p;#entry1196962Check out the last photo in the 2nd line, & it's other half- 1st pic, 3rd line.
That European background in the upper corner never appears in the game. I dont see a white ninja though. Is that him fighting Chagi?
That European stage would have been awesome, it's like the hall of Dragon Statues that got scrapped to be replaced by the Dojo stage with 2 dragons taken from it.

What about Alaric? He had his hands so close in front of his face I was suprised he could still see something :-).Angus' level was sweet. The monster of Loch Ness was swimming in the background, flipping over the fishermansboat. Good stuff ^_^.
Thundras stage is my fav by far
And Alaric is all good in my books!!

the best fighter is Jaki (spelling),lol.....i got a picture of a white ninja in an old magazine advertising the Jaguar, however ive never seen a white ninja in the game?? early beta i suppose......there is also a background that has tepees in one level, would be great to find some Kasumi Ninja betas...
Kasumi Ninja 2 was gonna kick ass!!KN2 we would call it
and it would have rocked my friend! I would have gotten a JagCD for it, the day it came out.
Also, Buddies could you post the pic of the white ninja?? pls????

i will eventually, but i got no camera right now, sorry Sigurd....

What Magazine was it? Issue no.? Date?

The White Ninja probly would have been another palette swap with the same exact moves as the other Ninjas..

...I thought the game was very mediocre though... Controls need to be tightened!
Angus!
It's too bad Angus' level has the worst music in the game (not saying much since most of it is terrible)

Too high Carl, sorry.Guys, isn't there somekind of alternator device you can buy at radio shack that could easily be spliced into the A button wiring on a Jag pad? This sounds like a very easy DIY project. Just need to know the part to buy. Personally I have 3 extra controllers collecting dust I would love to try this on.
a 555 timer IC

I dunno man, seems like Jag prices on eBay are pretty darn high these days!Yes, largely the work of shithead4u. And of course people who will pay off the chart stupid amounts for anything.
A developer who puts any effort towards an 'A' title as SG was at least intended to be, won't make the money back they spent on soda during development let alone the cost of anything else. There aren't enough people interested, even if the little band who are will fork out outrageous amounts of cash. As has been said before - you do it these days for the love of it, or not at all.
I think a lot of people are becoming interested in the Jag, probably because it's STILL being called one of the worst systems of all time in the media!Well you can count on the haters and the plain old clueless to keep taking the easy shots.

*cough*buddiesbuddy*cough*

humm, im not a hater nor am i clueless, just INSANE!
MWAHAHAHAHA
Wasn't saying you were a hater
just insane in how much you'll spend
