The problem I think everyone has is that he offered them for sale here, decided there was more interest than he though, then decides to auction them.
Had he just auctioned them to begin with, noone would be up in arms about it.

I have a set of the pac-man controllers and they are of very high quality work. I may have to buy a black one, just to keep from dirtying up my pac-man set!

No updates in that thread. Its unfortunate that we have no updates for a while. I understand he has health issues, but it would also seem there is a huge chunk of money sent out for items not yet received. Some kind of info would be great....
-
Put me down for one. also, did you ocr them or are they unsearchable PDFs.
Thanks

Bought a few things from him, went great!!

I might be interested in the xbox, but i have no use for the games....

I have tried emailing the guy over at 8bitdomain.com regarding his av/bios mod and cannot get a response. is there another outlet for these?
Also, I am in the market for a sega CDX in good condition.
on the good-luck list is a NES flash cart and a CC2, but I am not about to pay $400+ for one, so here i sit.... (300 I would do for the cc2
)Let me know if you have any of these things and want to part with them.
I am overflowing with Commodore gear, so if you want to trade, we can probably do that too.

Not a huge fan of the system you are whining about, but I am a huge fan of CAPITALISM. Its what makes it possible to make a living in this country.
To follow your logic, Burger King or <insert your favorite fast food restaurant here> should sell you food at the same price they paid for it, all in "community spirit"
If the buyer and seller agree on a price, then there is NOTHING wrong with the transaction. If they do not agree, there is no transaction. Crying that someone made money off something makes you look petty and stupid.
And the guy who ripped up the money order has probably lost future deals he will never know about. I know that I would never deal with a person using that kind of twisted reasoning. (I might pay him a visit if he screwed me out of the money though)
anyway, like previous posters have said, lock this or hell, delete it, as all it seems to be is slander......
-
I like the sticky post idea!
-
Resisting it should not be hard, I have never seen it available for order. Granted I do not check every day, but who the hell would have time to do that.
To top it off, the guy is kind of a jerk if you contact him....

I went, and I wish I could say it was worth the drive. The show only being 8 hrs AND being on a Sunday probably contributed to lower attendance.
I know that we could not stay until the end, as we needed to get back home. Staying a Sunday night in a hotel just would not work for us. Maybe its more of a local thing, and its my fault for not finding that out beforehand.
I agree that vendors had mostly common/beatup things to sell. One vendor packed up at like 3:30!!??!!
The "chinese" auction thing was cool, but we had to leave before any of the things I would have wanted were "auctioned"
oh, and hot having t-shirts for attendees to buy is probably a bad idea also. I have shirts from most events (like the Cinciclassic and the Midwest Gaming Classic) but none to be found at CCAG.
The show will have to get a little better for me to consider going again.
Nice effort on the organizers part, but ut needs some tweaks for us to consider another club outing from Indy.....

With the demand so high, why not just continue as-is? Every time I try to get one they are out of stock. perhaps it may be time to find a replacement since these are so hard to get ahold of lately...

Well, you must use a sucky bank, because I have set at a negative balance in paypal for months(long story, and I don't feel like feeding the conspiracy theorists here) with no charge to my bank or credit card....
I got many emails telling me "I better do a transfer", but they could not initiate on their own.
on another note, i had a company debit my acct after i canceled the transaction and when i called them they said tough shit, essentially. I went to my bank and in a week or so, I had the money back.... Unless you specifically authorize a transaction, they can not legitimately initiate one. If you use a band that won't help you or you don't actually understand laws governing electronic ACH, then yes, you should not use paypal (or a bank for that matter)
-
While I have had some negative things happen with paypal, they cannot debit your bank account without your permission, regardless of what you may have been told.

STandby for me too please

The cuttle cart 2 has label damage on the front, and has been super glued together. The pins snapped off when I had to replace the MMC slot on the inside of the CC2. I am not sure if I can find the cable for the CC2 however... it comes with the MMC card, and all of the contents of the cd, are in a folder on the MMC card. The CC2 still works perfect. $200 shipped. [ON HOLD]Nintendo DS: Comes with Rayman (DS) and Williams arcade greatest hits (GBA). $55 shipped.
Yes I kinda am that desperate about moving out...
I'll pay immediately for the cc2.....

Considering it has tcm and halloween on it250.00 is fair.
You can't really price multicarts based on the games that are on it since they are just roms. If that were the case, the CC2 would be worth thousands. Considering the batch of krok carts that just went on sale, it may be a hard sell. Here's hoping you get 250 though

where are these krok carts available??????

If anyone has one they would be willing to part with, please let me know.
