No problem.. I have a couple 7800 label variants I'll note in here in the morning. One is just odd, the other is a date change.
-
If you look at the blue Ghostbusters detail entry, it's very much broken. (No title, picture, ID numbers, etc.) And the 1987 Realsports Football label more closely resembles the 1988 version (no "Use with Joystick Controller" text).. the 88 version looks like they just used the 87 label and replaced the year (the 88 label introduces a typeset error.. the baseline of the date doesn't match the rest of the line)

Well, I'm watching my son, neice, and nephew.. so they've been giving my consoles some exercise. Here's what's in my Atari consoles now: - 7800: Freeway - Jaguar: Tempest 2000 ^_^ - XEGS: Crossbow

I went to a local game store that carries "retro" stuff, and found a blue-labelled copy of Ghostbusters. Also, a recent shrinkwrapped 2600 acquisition turned up a 1987 copyright Realsports Football.

I've started collecting to rebuild the collection I had when I was younger. I had about 100 carts (plus the big honking Gameline modem cart) and loaned the whole shebang (along with my INTV2 w/ 20 carts and a Genesis w/ modem switch and 5 games) to my nephew. His dad took all three systems to park & swap while my nephew was visiting my parents. That and it's getting harder to find Star Wars toys for a decent price that I don't have.

I found No. 2 on a Hotline site once. "8-Bits Of Power" I think is the name.

I know that MESS has partial A2600 support. I was just reading a post on their message board earlier about integrating netplay features. http://mess.emuverse.com

I just took a look.. the Mt. Dew version was for.... the Atari 2600. You only see the Mountain Dew logo during the "can shaker" bonus rounds.

If the seller had violated the rules, you couldn't even get to the auction page itself. (I know, I had an auction pulled out from under me - I was top bidder - fairly recently).
-
The arcade version had Budweiser, Root Beer and Suntory (some Euro-beer I think) versions. I saw screenshots of a Mt. Dew version that was a console port the other day.
-
I'm guessing the seller changed his/her mind. The text at the top of the page says it all: "Bidding is closed for this item. The seller ended this listing early because the item is no longer available for sale"

I just looked through my cartridges and found a Silver-labeled Dig Dug with a copyright date of 1983. There's only 1987 and 1988 in the Rarity Guide. Let me know what size or resolution scan is needed.
-
Oh right.. I should've thought of that, considering I have two copies of Wizard Of Wor heheh

I just picked up a Jag for $10 + s/h on eBay to replace my fried one (I had all the cables so I went in on a dutch auction for a guaranteed non-DOA console-only) The JagCD, a couple places still sell those online for $100 a pop

I dug a little more in the closet and found a Lynx catalog. It's got a full-size picture of the Lynx I on the front (and is die-cut to match its shape), and is a fan-fold deal with one game with box pic and screenshot plus description per page.

Hery Phoenix, I'm a Mac guy too.. you might want to keep an eye on http://www.emulation.net since it's being updated regularly now. As far as another 7800 emulator, I haven't heard of one but would be interested in something on par with Stella.
-
I just got this one the other day and popped it into my 7800 to try it.. I swear, there is no way to play this game. I've tried a standard Atari stick (from my XEGS) and I've tried my 7800 sticks.. nothing will control the character. I even started the ROM for it in Stella with the same results. Has anyone ever been able to actually PLAY this game?
-
I can see this happening: - Uwink.com is successful and buys up Telegames (along with the Atari brand name) - Nolan & friends start up Atari 2.0 with new games featuring characters and some gameplay concepts of old Atari games. (hell, why not? he made the first one in the first place!) - Any further company plans will NEVER include Merill Lynch ^_^

Well, I am a big fan of Yar's Revenge (in fact, I started taping my games for submission to Twin Galaxies.. until my VCR went braindead) and would love to try Yar's Quest.... but VCSS won't run on my iMac. Virtual PC is slow enough as it is and running an emulator in an emulator is just asking for problems.
-
Would it be possible to get a version that can be played on Stella?

Lenticular stuff is hard to scan, but I'll give it a shot. Tnere was only one pin style and I have like 2 or three of them
-
I was digging around my closet and found a lenticular Lynx pin (a couple actually) that I got from a guy who ran a BBS dedicated to the Lynx.
