  1. Yurkie did a fantastic job on the standard ColecoVision controllers when he modified them with Ball-Tops and straight cords. The controllers are now excellent, very responsive, clean and don't have the standard "curly" cords anymore! Great to deal with, and hope to again. Thanks for such a great job!!
  2. Sound great! It just keeps getting better and better! (dreaming about a colecovision2....)
  3. Galaga. A easy to learn SHMUP, that never seems to get old.
  4. Vector games? Possibly Asteroids, Battlezone, Major Havoc, Space Fury, Star Trek, Star Wars or even Tempest on a CV2? Wow!
  5. Platform games (that play like Jumpman Junior or Montezuma's Revenge, as I never get tired of these two games.) RPG's, possibly like Gateway to Apshai. An adventure game that you could explore for hours and enjoy "getting lost in the dungeon." Arcade titles: 1942, Arkanoid, Bubble Bobble, Crush Roller, Dig Dug II, Donkey Kong 3, Qix. Video Pinball(possibly like Alien Crush.)
  6. Nice work on this game! I would love to buy one when it's available. Personalized carts? Wow! High Score Cart compatibility would be fantastic, if possible. Either way, 7800 fans will have a great game to enjoy from you! Keep up the great work.
  7. That's wonderful news! I wonder how much the license will cost. If the price is right, it will be an added incentive to make the CV2 a reality. Great news on being able to use the brand name. Hopefully, this will not add to much to the final price. Either way, the CV2 sounds better every day, and will put a smile on plenty of fans ready to enjoy it. (Can't wait to see the final product! )
  8. Nothing missing that I can find. A new/modern CV2 console should be very popular, and the price point sounds very good. Would "recycling old CV console casings" actually work? Using old console casings may not hold up very well. Would the older cases crack or break when trying to modify them? A new case, designed to fit the board, sounds fine, and should last longer. Maybe (if possible) a case modeled after the original? Something that looks like it came from the past, even though it is brand new. However it may turn out, ColecoVision fans will should be excited about the CV2, and sign up quickly to buy one(or more!)
  9. Just bought a blue one from seanhq, and it looks nice! A high quality dust cover that makes a great addition to the collection! Thanks for making (and selling) these for the Atari 2600 community. (Last I heard, only 2 were left.) Thanks
  10. Bought a dust cover from seanhq, and everything went very smooth. The dust cover looks great, and was shipped fast. Highly recommended, and hope to deal with again! Thanks.
  11. As much as I would love to have (and would buy) a Colecovision clone, I voted for a Lord of the Dungeon re-issue. Someday, I hope this fine game will be available again.

  18. Very well put. Pac-Man Collection plays, sounds and feels like the arcade games. I featured this game at OVGE this year, and it was a smash hit! OVGE Pac-Man Collection competition picture Everyone loved the games, and people kept asking if the sounds were straight from the arcade versions. During the competition, I put a 5 minute time limit for the high score, but it was hard to stop people from playing the game! (Using the Genesis joystick also helped add to the arcade feeling!) Thank you opcode, for a wonderful arcade game that many people were able to enjoy this past weekend!
  19. OVGE 2009 was great! Being able to see Crossbow, PacFamily, PDF, Flack, Steve W, Ubik, 8bitgamer and everyone else at OVGE made this an event not to forget. The Pac-Man Collection at my table was a big hit! (And the Pac-Man neon lights that I found on eBay drew a smile from each person that saw them.) Everyone enjoyed playing this excellent Colecovision game from opcode. In fact, several players did not want to stop, and had to be pulled away from the controls, for another person to start their game. More than one person asked if the sound effects on opcode's Pac-Man Collection were digitized straight from the arcade games. Had a bad power supply with my second Colecovision, so I displayed a 2600 with some homebrews, and a Harmony cart(which I need to update, as it was slow to load.) I almost forgot that I brought a modified Flashback 2, and put it out late in show. The FB2 had some good comments, and gamers enjoyed playing carts as well as the pre-loaded games. Although this years turnout was lower than expected, everyone that attended enjoyed some great classic gaming goodness. Competitions at OVGE were definitely the most popular part of the show. Hopefully, next years show will have even more competitions, and possibly some multiplayer gaming fun! Thanks for everyone for such a great show this year.
  20. Starting a new collection in 2009, after selling everything last year while out of work.

Glad support for the classics is right here at AtariAge. Thanks everyone!
