    OVGE 2006

I've found 2 places in North Texas that have plenty left. Every time I buy one (or more ), I keep thinking "this could be collectable", but I scratch it anyway!
  3. Thinking about getting a Wii....but as several others have stated, I would like to see some games first. I don't care how "cool" or new a system looks, it's always about the games.
  4. While I enjoy both, Protector gets more gameplay, and also my vote.
  5. I saw the Atari Keychain games two days before OVGE, and decided to offer one as a prize, so I bought 2 of them. The Joystick that I had on display had several people asking "does it really work?." So, I plugged it in and watched the joystick slowly disintegrate! Several gamers enjoyed it, while others just watched. Fifteen bucks for a very poorly made "Plug N Play", that will be used as a key-chain only. (Keep an eye out for this item to be reduced.)

    OVGE 2006

OVGE was great this year, being able to meet everyone again, as well as some new faces in the crowd. My ColecoVision table went over very well, even though I had a last minute set-up. The dual Vectrex's were also a hit, with several offers to buy one! The one thing that I would change is to have some chairs in front of the Vectrex's, as well as the SHUMP tournament. I found the mini-Atari joystick two days before OVGE, and decided to offer one as a prize. The other mini Atari joystick that was supposed to be for "show only" had several people asking "does it really work?." So, I plugged it in and watched the joystick slowly disintegrate! Several gamers enjoyed it, while others just watched. Fifteen bucks for a very poorly made "Plug N Play", that will be used as a key-chain only. (Collectors, look for this item to be reduced soon.) Saturday evening was fun, even with the thunderstorm! Being able to spend time with everyone is a cherished moment, that any game cannot possibly match. As for the Pac-Man scratch-offs, when I took them to Texas for a payout, the place I stopped at said that this game was out of date, and the big prizes had already been won. He was wrong, as shown at the Texas Lotto site located here: http://www.txlottery.org/scratchoffs/activ...et.cfm?gnum=664 (36 more cocktail arcades to be given away!) I also regret buying only 2 items this year, Rob's Commodork book (highly recommended), and an arcade marquee of Donkey Kong Jr. from Jeff. Thanks to everyone for a great show this year. With everyone pulling together, OVGE will be here for 2007! Brad ps. Did anyone get a picture of the Coke/Pepsi SHUMP?
  7. Yep, Randy gave me one as well. I've displayed it at every OKGE/OVGE so far, and several people have asked about it. I haven't heard from Randy for quite a while. I wonder what he's been up to. Brad
  8. Weapons: - A complete arsenal of weapons (Radiant Silvergun) so you don't have to earn them, and loose them every time you die! - Ability to absorb all shots from enemies (Mars Matrix) for a few seconds, and unleash them all at once. However, this does leave you vulnerable for a short period of time. - Unique sound effect for each weapon, possibly something "borrowed" from a classic Shmup.
  9. I would have loved FHMC in a home console. If I remember correctly, this was the way Q*Bert was supposed to be originally, for the arcade game. After playing FHMC, the arcade Q*Bert seems slow and easy. But, keep up the great work. I hope to see the finished product.
  10. Yes, I didn't want to, but have to until my first paycheck at my new job comes in.
  11. Anyone interested in a free pacman game for the ST? Hac-Man 2, for the Atari ST, if someone could use it. I don't have a ST to test it. (Floppy on my PC died.) A fun game, that starts out slow, with 69 levels that speed up as you go. And allow you to select the starting level. Ghosts include Bruce, Bryan, one-eyed Lurch, Tim, Chris, Adria, and some levels have Daleks from Dr. Who (Exterminate!). Just pay for shipping, which I will refund if the game does not work. Brad
  12. This was their reply: "Hi Brad, as of right now, we don't have any plans for a wireless Dreamcast controller, but stayed tuned to playmessiah.com for future announcements!" Supply and demand. If enough people are willing to buy the wireless, someone could make them (and make a nice profit too.)
  13. I found several sites that had gamers asking for the same thing. Here's one at lik-sang that has the question "For which classic system would you like Messiah to bring their wireless controllers?" http://forum.lik-sang.com/archive/index.php/t-9938.html Hopefully, we will see these soon. I would love a quality wireless controlller!
  14. (auction ending soon) Someone asked about International shipping. Yes, I will ship to another country. Please give me an extra day to find the correct rates, and label it correctly. Thanks.
  15. For two Jags, a standard Jaglink cable works fine. For a network, I believe there are three choices: Catbox. May be hard to find, but it's cool for everyone to check out. Scatbox. I don't know how hard it would be to get a Scatbox. They work very well. JagLink2. Available here at the AtariAge store for $30. I haven't heard any reviews for this one.
  16. -^Cro§Bow^- : Battlesphere did not get much attention at the OKGE/OVGE shows. Several people said they liked the "looks" of it, but did not want to learn how to play it. MMF: I hope that you do win, as it may be an opportunity to enjoy a Jaguar link-up. I'll finally get to see the eyes on my Catbox again.
  17. Battlesphere Gold on ebay: Pictures are now with the listing. :!: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...item=8250166435 I have enjoyed playing this game, but don't use it much anymore, and thought another Jaguar fan would enjoy it. I tested it last night (01/08/06), and it works fine. Battlesphere Gold is in great shape. The box is clean, and looks new. The cartridge is clean, and smoke free. Manual has a slight tear on the front page. Both JUGS and the demo CDs are included. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.
  18. Bugs Bunny has been sold. All PMs have been replied to. Thanks.
