Yes, the structure will be the same. Unless you find the necessity of improving it.
About the mine homing sound, we should at least find some sound. And depending on the sound priorities, it may not t be disabled that often.
Perhaps a sound when the mine detach from the ring?

When your PS3 finally end the update, PS4 is out!

Cool!
The oldest coin I have is from 1869, and it's black as yours. I've used cleaning products for silver (cutlery, jewel) with sucess, even for not silver based coins, with a cotton polishing the coin.
But it not work for all metal types and the coin will turn black again after some years.
There are videos about it on youtube : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=it91IG3Nof0

Good read. Probably I'll go to see this movie.

Nathan, I have a question, are you going to see Silent Hill Revelations?
I was waiting this movie since 2009 (big sillent hill fan here) but the trailler was disappointment for me and the first critics I read says the movie is a crap

Hi Darrell,
Tested the Stress_Test rom on my harmony. No problem on screen here, but I have a PAL-M tv an this tv is more tolerant for different scanline count (On my tests, I can set up to 285 scanlines before screen roll).
BTW I'm reporting the master system controller didn't work. I think you don't need to fix it, the controller works fine if set as atari controller.
The problem is the "action button" (shield, hyperspace) is like always set, and the other button don't shoots (perhaps because action button persistency).
Have you tested with a six button sega genesis controller? I can do it if you want.

Very good.
What's happened with thrust engine sound?

PoP still have lot of stuff to make me busy for years.

I have to admit I didn't do much work on Star Castle lately, but with the darker days coming, I am sure this will change.
I will post the progress in my own blog.
I'm very curious about your progress!

LOL
There is a relationship between the new cart and 2012 - the end of the world?

Very good

Looks fine in my tv, 29". Even shows the blank space below the score as seen on emulator screenshot.

Nice to see Ivan Machado involved in this project. He did one of the best 2600 games of all times...
Bee•Ball is a little 4kb game, I think best of all times is too much... But thanks your kind words.

I'm not a sound expert anyway I like to create sound effects, it's a good chalenge like everything related to the Atari 2600.

I have a question, this optimizations will gain some rom bytes?
For more frames in the cannon explosion animation or more time for the explosion sound.

How about a true vetorial game? You made a demo time ago that display vetorial lines at 60 hz using the arm chip to calculate.
You have a b/w screen but with "unlimited" numbers of objects, also it's a recent technique that never has been done in a finished Atari 2600 game.

I like so much the vector-ish looking of the text
The biggest issue remaining is the sound effects. I'm not very good at manipulating TIA audio, so if anyone can produce a closer match to the arcade effects then I'll be very grateful for the help!PM sent

I remember the "Zombie" I thought was Boulder Dash.
And I figured by myself "Chunli" because I'm a big Street Fighter 2 aka "SF2" fan.

Bruce still unknow to me....

The Thrust sprite and the rotating gun at the centre are just place holders. Nathan has said that he will work on them, but I'm sure he wouldn't mind you stepping in as he is rather busy at the moment. If Nathan is going to produce the sprites, they are on good hands.

About the blink shield parts, I forgot it's already using fliker, will not looks good certainly.

Hi Chris.
Works great. How about blinking the piece of shield after a shoot colision? In the original they reduce the bright of the vector line, you know.
Do you going to use the Thrust filled space ship or it's a place holder? Can I make new ship graphics based on the original?

Too bad this bug happens.
Nothing like to code for a bug free processor, the 6507

There is a cure for these zombies carts.
Clean, remove the label and sent to AA and finally turn into homebrews

How much RAM this game uses?
I've downloaded the last demo and am amazed by how fast this project is developing.

-
Sometimes the robo shoot two times to up (same robot, two shoots with small gap between them)
Is it right?
-
Just start drawning! It's like a therapy anti-stress to me. Doesn't matter if the final result is good or bad, all you need to do is draw something you like.

Hehe it seems your Sears joined to the dark side.

I think the idea of changing the volume interesting, but it needs to check the closer mine or limit the range of the sound according player distance. Mines out of range doesn't make sound then.
Another thing, is it possible to add hit sparks? When the bullet hit a mine or the ring?
