I've played sms version when I was child and this game is very fun! Do some tests with vertical scrolling, and post here... You coud use grp1 to draw houses, like in River Raid... And use missile0 to news paper... Good luck.

Trust me, this site is better than a bit torrent file for a zip with all 2600 rom files. Send an email for them. Edit: Not all programmers had the same think, there are programmers that not even release the rom, and this need be respected. If you don't want see your game in that site, just ask for them to remove.

My roms are in this site too. I don't care, they post links to rom topic, and said who is the author. Although my roms are not public domain, I'm the owner and it's free for download.

Here some of my latest sprites, primal rage characters in "pocket" style, and Tyris Flare from golden axe, based in that sketch posted by me days ago. People call it as "Pixel Art". I never liked this label. Art made using a bunch of squares is called Mosaic. The diference in computer/video games that mosaic is digital, so for me it's Digital Mosaic art.

It's my first blog entry ever, sorry possible mistakes... I'll post some 2d gaming related stuff made by me, such draws, sprites and others. For start, a sketch of Tyris Flare, from Golden Axe, classic game by Sega at end of 80's. This game is awesome, developed by "Shinobi team" who did great games using Sega 16 hardware.

I never liked anime with few exceptions like Saint Seya, Evangelion and now Death Note (this last I recomend). Anyway have many of these anime events with tons of cosplays in my country, the most interesting cosplay I see are two girls, one Chun-li and another Vanessa from king of fighters, very sexy, and most funny was a Card Box from Metal Gear Solid with a guy inside walking around. lol

For controller type, maybe set the type in game code, for chimera understand what controller the game uses. Of course, this only can be done for chimera games only. The auto detection is not possible becouse even paddles uses SWCHA, so press paddle button is same as press left in joystick. Anyway paddles uses INPT0 to 3, maybe check if the game uses these ports and aren't a game coded for chimera only... I don't know about others controllers such driving, I think it's uses paddle like code...

The carts are ntsc, run fine in ntsc consoles, but the console (handheld) is PAL-M, 262 scanlines with pal colors, so will work in ntsc tv with wrong colors information (like a PAL game in NTSC tv) but no screen roll, probably.

Nice to see chimera running on real hardware! The board looks smaller than I figured ... A very perfect port of space invaders can be done with chimera
