I would like to make a new trace on a Board that fits in a CX-40 Joystick. My goal is to use a CX-40 on the Arcadia 2001 system. I did a mod of a CX-40 for use with the APF M1000 system, but the Arcadia will require a lot more work than that. I scanned a CX-40 board and then drew a trace on the image that can be made to work (with the right pin connections). It is below. Can anyone have a few of these made for me? Thanks!

I've had good luck with cleaning by carefully scraping the contacts with an exacto knife. It can usually reach into most carts as well.

The RF is just a regualr RF cable. Really any RCA cable will work. Just open it up, plug it in, and route it so it will go out the hole the original RF went into. At least this is true with the Telstar Arcade.

Agreed, I think I've figured out Farmyard Fun. It seems to be a dot-eating type game. I have no idea yet on Firebug.

It is random if some are awarded points and others are not eventhough each should qualify as they meet the criteria. Also, as I mentioned in a previous post, the HSC tradition for "bonus" points is there is no voting. Either you participated or not. I participated and therefore should receive the points.

I guess it is only fun for me if it is a fair competition. Take that away and I'll just play games that I want on my own time. Random awarding/not-awarding of "bonus" points is hardly fair and therefore not fun. There are plenty of great players here IMHO that every point will matter. Look at the top few players in the Season 8 opening tally; there is only a few point differential. If everyone else thinks this is fair and/or fun then great, but I will not participate this season.

There is no "voting" for bonus points. Points are awarded if someone participates. Otherwise there is a ridiculous random factor thrown in that takes away from the fun of competing for points. Are you really not going to award me my 2 bonus points?

Hunh? I only picked a ghost because I saw someone else did a ghoul. If a ghoul counts then so does a ghost; they are each mythical undead. We have not voted on bonus points items in the past. If we start doing this then there should not be bonus points.

Time, I play other systems now and then, but I don't have the time to take part in all the HSC's. I have a complete CIB 7800 collection (plus homebrews too), but have not participated in the 7800 HSC. I have an almost complete Intellivison collection as well and am just missing the really rare stuff. Maybe somedayI'll have the time for the other HSCs! For now I can only commit to my favorite system; the 2600! As for my collecting habbits, I buy the same game if it is in better condition so I can upgrade it. I like to both collect and play the games. I sell all my extra stuff anyway so anyone that I "beat out" initially will have a chance to buy it when I sell my extra copy. Also, then they don't have to worry about me bidding too.
