How many "loose" Atari 2600 duplicate do you have?
toymailman replied to Unbeliever's topic in Atari 2600
I am nearing ~150 of the SARA Superchips. I always tuck these away whenever I buy stuff in case some future homebrewer needs 'em. I'd hate for a cool homebrew not be released simply because donor carts could not be found. -
Same question. I just got a 5200 so I could compete in the KO tournament grand championship. I am still not completely used to the controller, but it does the job. I would love to get my system modded with this v2.2 (or later) board. Also, I have a 2-port system. Is there a general concensus of which one is "better" 2-port vs 4-port? Compatibility, reliability, etc. If I get a mod done then it would be good to have it installed in the "better" system. Thanks!

Updated ColecoVision Galaxian-Expert score: 16,120 Also, my 5200 system I won on eBay did not arrive in time so I will not get a score in for that game. Too bad too because I also got one of those Best Electronics upgraded gold controllers. Argh! -
More scores for Team USA! Pele's Soccer 5 - 1 RealSports Volleyball 15 - 4 Video Olympics 21 - 3 I am finding the 1st half of soccer to be much easier than the 2nd half. I had another game where I scored 4 goals (to none) and was thinking my final score would be pretty good. My first goal was in less than 10 seconds! However, in the 2nd half there were no goals scored at all. Wierd.

Good question. I didn't even realize this until now. Why is this not a part of the competition?

We can inspire each other to new heights for Team USA!

I am recording my games for TnF and then replaying it to get pics. I should start doing this for Decathlon too as I've missed a couple of distances (but I do have the score pic).

Atari 2600 HSC Season 10, "IDEAS POLL"
toymailman replied to JacobZu7zu7's topic in 2600 High Score Club
I like both the KO format and the regular format. I like Liduario's suggestions as well. For the KO format it could be a dual track competition to keep player's interest. Stress that there will be a KO champ and a Season/points champ. For the regular HSC seasons: Eliminate the best tips bonus. There are so many games that it is not likely a new tip will be submitted anyway. Do not have the drawing competitions as was done in a previous season. Speaking for myself, I do not have the time to participate in non-gameplay aspects of the 2600 HSC. Other possible options: Have the seasons be dedicated to certain companies such as TigerVision, Parker Brothers, etc. We would play all the games of a certain company and then crown a champion for that company. We could break up large companies like Atari or Activision into multiple seasons if need be. Conversely we can combine really small companies into one season. Has anyone tried the multi-player aspect of the new Java based atari emulator? If it works well then we could have bracket type tournaments with various sports or head-to-head games. We could have our own super-bowl if this is possible. We could even do regular seasons with playoff brackets. -

Yurkie's ColecoVision Mods RGB, VGA and HDMI May 2018
toymailman replied to Yurkie's topic in Buy, Sell, and Trade
Ooo, this sounds great! I am using my ColecoVision right now to compete in the HSC Knockout grand championships. It goes through August 12. Can I sign up/pay before July 31st to get the deal or do I have to send it to you by July 31st? Thanks! -
Many of those scores look familiar!

I like mine and have all 13 titles. I would play it more, but with a 16 month old baby boy my game time is much more limited. When he's old enough maybe he'll play these with me.
