Been after this game for ages, but I never bid on overseas sellers that use the global shipping program. I bought some Hot Wheels from the US and was stung twice for import duty.

Cheers guys. Don't know whether to sell the NTSC games and start collecting PAL games or buy an Atari from the US and carry on collecting NTSC ones? The shipping costs to the UK are a little high.

So all the games i have been playing must have been displaying the wrong colours. I only noticed on Pitfall as i was sure the trees were never blue. When i play the other games now it's going to bug me. I've got 10 games coming from the US aswell.. Would the problem be solved if i bought an Atari console from the US? If so what would i need to connect it to my tv and power it up? Lee.

Doh, most of my carts are from the US. I'm in the UK playing a US cart on a UK console. I thought that they worked fine.

I have got an Atari 2600 4 switch console that i have been happily playing on for months. The other day i bought Pitfall off E-bay and started playing it, it worked fine but the colours seem wrong. BITD i remember the colours been green and browns, this plays in shades of blue?? Is this a fault with the cart or the console, tried other games and they "seem" to be ok. Please help, Lee.

Sweet find, some good carts there. Up N Down is the only rare game i own, cost me $45 plus $10 shipping so you got massive bargain.

I have got an upright Namco Galaxian and looking for an original marquee and money box if anyone has one spare or knows where to get them from. I have seen loads of Midway marquees for sale but no Namco. Fingers crossed, Cheers Lee.

I opted for the original Pitfall but must admit that i have never played Pitfall II, it's on my wants list after reading this thread.

I never knew there was a difference between them. I have a 4-switch that i have only just really started playing and on some of the games the graphics seem to flash, is this a common fault/problem or my machine. I'm running it through the built in RF lead. I can't remember this problem BITD. Lee.
