  1. With any due respect, that guy has had way too much time for YEARS! It's not hard to change the text in an old school game like that (see the Adam Rant thread)-- although graphics may prove a little more challenging. For a common game, he still charges the $35 plus shipping, so he's not coming out too bad.

I also seem to recall a story (call it lore since I'm too lazy to site a source) of that guy basically looting/cleaning up/what-ever-you-want-to-call-it when Telegames had that Tornado years ago. They were both located in Texas, and basically, he took everything he could according to the rumors, and Telegames (while not happy abou tit) let their insurance handle it. While maybe a great (and now overpriced) source for gamers looking to play games that they don't have, a horrible source of confusion for collectors! :) Repros that are not clearly marked as such SUCK! lol

    Murph

Well no loss for me, I stumbled onto it accidently, but my other telegames games I am starting to wonder about I know the tennis is real I have the original High quality box, my tankwar came with a clamshell case and photocopied manual I am not sure if that is fake or not...and so on....well I guess the only way I will ever get soccer, porkys, mash, etc is to buy his stuff, well that sucks!!! well at least I have 125 + 1 prototype original collection and still growing ( Its that stupid common Victory cartridge that still eludes me lol ) well anyhow COLECOVISION IS STILL THE BEST CLASSIC SYSTEM!!!!

    With the worst controllers ever......

  2. Has anyone ever seen this telegames version of one on one before?

The Microfun one on the right is the one most people have. The CBS on on the left, I'd bet isn't telegames at all-- it appears to be the handywork of Terry Fowler/Adam's House/E-Coleco. I saw that CBS version on Ebay earlier this month, but passed on it with the understanding it was most likely a reproduction version of One on One.

While I may be wrong, the only way to prove to me otherwise, would be to come up with a CBS box. :)

I looked on that ecoleco website and its the same label hes using, if this guy made this game, ( which he probely did)he would of had to dump the original game remove all the credits from the title screen and reload it and sell it with a fake telegames manual. yawn... way too much time on his hands in my opinion for such a common game...

Well it may be.... but it did come in the exact same bag, and the same cartridge shell as strike it and other telegames games I have as in in the attached jpg...... I am not sure but my telegames skiing may be pirate its label is poor quality and the cartridge shell is like a cheap version of war room... as pictured with my telegames tennis .... I would think that one on one would really not be worth reproducing it is a fairly low value common game......

  4. I just checked my collection and I have the micro fun version with the white label pictured on the right in your picture. Is that a telegames version?

No the one on the left with the cbs colecovision label is the telegames version, the manual I have says its telegames/micro lab also the cartridge is the standard cheap telegames cartridge shell and I have the plastic bag that it originally came in, I guess telegames ripped off quite a few games like motorcross racer, fathom, kung fu superkicks etc..

  5. Image10.tiffA few years back I picked up 6 famicom cartridges, with no interest in collecting them I put them on Ebay, in the first day they went up to about $100U.S , Woo Hooo I thought good score, anyhow day 2 ebay kicked them off said they where pirate, since then I have picked up the odd one here and there and sometimes play them they have some very strange games on them mostly in japenese, one four in 1 has four adventure games on them that I dont even reconize and there is three different versions of super mario bros 1 on these cartriges, so which ones are pirate and what ones are original?

  6. Does anyone know where to find a Good list of colecovision Pal games, other then the colecovision FAQ 4.0 , that list is incomplete I have a few CBS games that are not even on that list.

Do they all have the standard CBS case, with the thumb wells at the top? eColeco puts CBS style labels on some of their carts, but they use the regular Coleco casing. Of course, with ColecoVision, it doesn't really matter, PAL and NTSC carts are interchangable.

They are Ecoleco with a CBS colecovision label, one of them is One on One, which is kinda wierd since micro fun released that game.
