  1. I agree. I bought it and remember playing Streets of Rage on it and was like 'The sound is horrifically shitty'.
  2. My old-school Sega fanboy dreams are going to come true with this collection. I was waiting for them to release some of these games on XBLA ala Streets of Rage 2 and Ecco.....but this is even better. Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection is set to release Feb. 10 on the 360 and PS3......probably other systems, also. 3. I'm with johnny on this. That game looks like shit. Even the original Super Mario Bros. graphics were better.
  4. I never got around to beating it. I got past the part where you escape the Spire after 10 years and rescue that bad-ass magician guy. That's where I quit because I had tons of other games pulsing for me to play. My game queue as of November: Fallout 3 Fable II Call of Duty 5 Left 4 Dead Far Cry 2 Banjo Kazooie Mass Effect ...the list seems to never end..... The only games I beat were Fallout 3 because I'm OBSESSED with that game and Call of Duty 5 because the campaign is short.
  5. Another "interesting", yet frustrating, turn of events last night: I decided to play Fallout 3 last night. Since I had cleared the cache, it downloaded the update. Everything fine. Then I go to load my game and what happens while it's loading...........take a wild guess.......................it quietly freezes. After a few I decided to clear the cache again. I turn the game on again, download the update again, and then the game starts and plays fine. This is the second time in a row. Both times the games would quietly freeze on the loading screens. Both times, they were fixed by cleaning the cache and starting anew. Any ideas, guys? Will this constantly be a problem? Is it a fluke?
  6. I wish Starcraft 2 would come out for the consoles. Thats the only game I'm waiting for thats still PC-only.
  7. To Video: To delete the cache in your memory....go to system settings, then your memory.....it should have you hit 'Y' for device options....after that....hit Y, X, X, LB, RB, X, X
  8. After deleting the cache and getting the update again.....everything loaded up and played fine. Didn't play for long though, because Half-Life is one of those games that gets me motion-sick while I play it.
  9. Possibly download incorrectly and make a game not load at all. I have my new Jasper unit and have been playing it fine for a week.....and I decided to play Orange Box. It had to download the update to it, again....so I let it......and now every time I go to play the game it freezes at the loading screen. I'm going to clear my cache and see if that does anything but right now I'm still kinda pissed. I'd like to restate my opinion that....despite having some of the best games ever.....the actual 360 hardware is the worst shit I've EVER had to deal with.....I'm constantly having some kind of trouble with it.
  10. Dude!!!!!! That's pure heresy in my mind!!!! Little Mac was the man!!!!!
  11. thats what sux......i have no wii and they are making a remake that looks spectacular and it is coming out for the wii. damn you, nintendo!!!!!
  12. Man.....I felt the same way with that teenager in RE4. I can't remember her name. I was like 'C'mon Leon. Let's take her to a quieter place.....after we mop some zombies up.' Curse my perverse thinking.
  13. Mike Tyson's Punch Out! is my favorite boxing game, period. It was just so fun back then and still gets tons of play nowadays. I never got to play Super Punch-Out! as much because I never bought back then and only rented it. It's hard as hell to find nowadays in the wild. I never played it enough to see if it would eclipse the original. I know for a fact, though, that the characters weren't as memorable. The characters from MT's Punch-Out have all become icons in their own right.
  14. Spoiler Alert: Did some of the Outcasts turn on you after the door got opened? I was admiring the armour and all of the sudden I heard them killing each other and then that Scribe Olin ran out there and got slaughtered, too. So I pulled out my combat shotgun and went to town on those fucks.
  15. It'll delete itself after a week, won't it?
  16. That's my favorite vault. I'm still trying to figure out the connection between Gary and the Outcast Outpost with the Anchorage sim in it. remo should know what I'm talking about.
  17. yea....i beat operation anchorage pretty quick.....about an hour and a half worth of fighting and exploring. the ammo and health dispensers kinda made it rather too easy. i'm taking advantage of the winterized t-51b outfit, though. it's better than my tesla armour. and the gauss rifle is awesome!!!!! and I FINALLY found the Lincoln Repeater!!!!
  18. I made my character a killing machine, hell-bent on killing everyone and everything that breathed. ....in a nutshell....
  19. Really???? WEIRDO!!!! Back to Bioshock, I'm a pretty decent way through it, I guess......SPOILERS AHEAD: I'm to the part where Atlas reveals who he really is....I wasn't that surprised. When he acted all weird...I was like...that's probably Fontaine. I'll miss Ryan. I wish you had a choice whether to leave him alive or not. I left Sander Cohen alive. He was a crazy sonuvabitch but I liked his sadistic-ness. His level also left the most impression on me. Fort Frolic was AWESOME!!!
  20. Already got 3 new achievements. You're probably asking me why I'm not still playing......but I had to take a food/drink/internet/etc. break. So far, it's different but not THAT different. It certainly feels like you're in Alaska....sometimes I can't even tell where the damn enemies are because of the snow.......and those damn stealth units. After awhile....you get to assemble your own crew.......whether you want some robots, infantry, snipers, etc. That makes it fun. I'm enjoying it right now.
  21. I never got into part VII.........I was more into part 8. And as an extra, Final Fantasy Tactics took up more of my time than all the Final Fantasies combined.
