  1. I have a bigger cousin for iPad. Khols had load of them on clearance sale of $15 when I got 2 (they are since gone). One still in box and one assembled, I had planned on modding it to be a mini arcade with LCD display and something tucked inside like a CoreGrafx plus Everdrive for dang near every games. I haven't had any chance to do anything as I was kept busy with illness of my own and my grandparent's.
  2. Seen something similar with a Game Gear. Replaced the capacitors and it was better. So just a guess but the caps in your Lynx are bad.
  3. I have seen FM addon board (http://etim.net.au/smsfm/smsfm.html not mysite) that plugs into the rear SMS expansion port, the one that never got used officially. Since the rear port connects 49 of the same 50 pins (one pin is enable that SMS console uses to control card, cart, and Expansion device separately) and theoretically it should be possible to add one inline. A quick glance of the posted schematic doesn't show any problem save for just one wire.
  4. Dusting off my C128, tired of looking for working monitor with both RGB and composite or S-Video, would like an adapter board to use dirt common VGA display. I can find 15" LCD displays under $10 around here these days and since the older ones are 4:3 they are of proper aspect ratio for older systems. Any suggestion? Some of the VGA displays including the one I got can handle 15KHz RGBI but none does composite or other signals.
  5. Too bad no shipping. I wonder what the freight cost is like from Germany to Michigan?
  6. If you got the money, time, and black heart buy them, then complain no intellivision.
  7. A bit high if the Gameboy works fully. If the Gameboy has bad screen, probably $30 for that boxed set would be my limit.
  8. Atari clone exists, look to Flashback 2 with cart mod. Intellivision clone would be a real pain in the butt to do because of odd logic design. Even if they used FPGA instead of original CPU and RAM chips, they'd still need to decode and encode between system and cart slot. CV and SMS are probably easy to clone but probably not profitable enough to make it worth while.
  9. I've had one bad seller this year. And worse experience with eBay getting refund. I bought aVB system for a spare, it was listed as working. It arrived in box with newspaper on bottom and top (not even crumpled, just laying flat) and absolutely no padding between stuff or at the side. VB was non working, stand had multiple damage, etc. Seller agreed to refund me when I ship it back but seller neglected to tell me the address on original label was old and useless. I spent $10.80 to ship it back, posted the tracking number, and it bounced back undeliverable because the seller had moved and left no forward address. I escalated dispute, eBay closed it a few hours claiming I didn't have permission to return it or provided tracking info. I guess they outsourced eBay staff and forgot to make English reading skill a requirement. I had to have my mother call eBay since I am deaf and I didn't have working TTY to call them. After some 30 minutes, they agreed something was wrong but couldn't proceed to reverse the claim because my mother's name isn't on the account. There is a way to get her name on the account: I have to call them. But since I don't have TTY, I can't call them and I'm out $65
  10. crappy label, no way to tell from the picture it is really Atlantis 2.
  11. And the company making those inferior clones aren't likely to offer useful support. You might get a very hard to understand Engrish response.
  12. You're sure? I thought SNES only came in grey color, both the original and Jr? And that play it loud type color for non portable didn't start until N64?
  13. Summer cold sucks. I sound like a cat with perpetual hairball problem

  14. Sucks to the seller who tries to cancel if someone uses BIN and the seller has only 1. If they cancel early, they will eat fee. If they don't cancel, they will eat neg from irate buyer and the fee as well.
  15. If you thought Hard Drivin' was bad on C64, try Stun Runner on C64.
  16. Worn caps? Electrolytic caps do fail without showing obvious sign. I recently recapped one of my Intellivision that didn't show any visible bad cap but had crappy video. One of the cap had ESR over 10 ohms and 0.086uF (label said 100uF)
  17. That needs to pass Castlevania 3 test before I'd consider it.
  18. Intellivision 2 will not be easy. There is not much room at so I never designed the board to fit readily inside Inty 2. Plus Inty 2 doesn't have the same 9 pin single row connector like other Intellivision.
  19. Post what you got so far so we can mock his ignorance
  20. Remind me to send some of a pack of adult diapers and case of ensure Installation of fully assembled board is easier than you might think. THe only thing you had to do is solder ground and +5v to the power supply and cut a hole to mount Jaguar controller port. Everything else just plugs together. I need to do easy to follow illustrated instruction.
  21. Lots of missing spot below reset button, the label below power button was poorly masked. I think it was painted by an 8 year old. No serial number.. I wonder if it can be reported to eBay for violating the rule about defiling or removing serial number label? eBay usually frowns on this because it makes tracking stolen good harder.
  22. Give me 7.1 anytime. One of the last great System before Apple named then MacOS. Of course a mess of enabler files didn't help much.
  23. Looks like it was done with a hand held label printer. Font is very similar to my Dymo label printer.
