This game uses 2 controllers. If your playing on the atari800winplus emulator, select input then joysticks. For joystick 1 i use my gamepad controller, and then for joystick 2 i use the arrow keys. move with joystick 1, fire with joystick 2 Roadrunner - How do you hold the controller steady to move quickly, while using your other hand to work the arrow keys? I don't get it, but with a score like yours you must be doing something right.

46,625 I was never any good at this game, but hopefully can get a bit better before the end of the week.

*IF* the system is in fact fried, it is repairable if you're interested in putting in time, effort, and a little bit of money. A few years ago I received a 5200 that had undergone a similar experience - it was powered up from an Atari 400/800 AC Adapter, and several components on the motherboard were destroyed. I managed to repair the system with a lot of help from folks on the internet, and I can probably find the discussion and photos that helped me get everything back together again if you want them. Just let me know.

Cart, Instructions, Box. I always thought it meant 'complete in box', which I suppose is functionally equivalent to 'cart, instructions, box'.

I might be interested in Klax or HH3d. To be honest though, I'm on the fence about them. I'd be more likely to buy one or both if they were closer to $30, rather than $50. And I'd very strongly prefer they include a decent box & instructions. I have Rent War and Bristles (& Boulder Dash & Combat II, for that matter), and while those boxes seemed lower-quality than those used for other 5200 homebrews like Adventure 2 or Castle Crisis, they were certainly good enough. I realize I'm asking for the cheapest price, AND a nice box with instructions. AND I'm still not guaranteeing I'd buy anything. If you can't meet those parameters I completely understand and that's life, but if it helps you to decide how to proceed, that's where I'm coming from in my little corner of the world. How about Countermeasure. You forgot your favorite game; the one that I can't stand. How about replacing Miner 2049er with Bounty Bob Strikes Back? No, I never liked Countermeasure much. As for BBSB, I've never played it, so I don't know how it stacks up to Miner 2049er.

In no order other than the random way they popped in to my head: Space Dungeon Miner 2049er Berzerk James Bond 007 Star Raiders Wizard of Wor Real Sports Baseball Kaboom (with homemade paddle controller) Ms. Pac-Man Ballblazer Koffi Yellow Kopter That's 11. I'd probably remove RS Baseball or Ballblazer to reduce down to ten. And I like most of the 5200 games, so I could be persuaded to swap out many on my list. BUT, I would NEVER be persuaded to remove Space Dungeon, Star Raiders, or Miner 2049er. Those will be on any list I make.

44,250 I don't understand why there aren't other, (much) higher scores here. I'm really not that good at this game, never liked it that much, and only played two or three times this evening. Maybe nobody else is active, because the game isn't that good?

OK, I haven't had time to play in the HSC for nearly 6 weeks , but I just made it under the deadline tonight. Counterstrike, Game 1. 15,900. (No picture - getting up to get the camera, I jarred the console and when the cart moved in the slot, all was lost.) EDIT - I only played once, because I was in a rush to get a score to submit by deadline. NOBODY is even close to this score? Now I wish I did have a pic, as I'm wondering if I misread the score, or was playing the wrong game, or something... I'm going to play some more, to ensure my score is legit.

What you are missing is that when the CIB game was discovered it was the 13th game. Then because of the publicity 2 more games were found. 13+2=15. Yes the post says March 21st, but I have been editing that post along the way. For instance I just edited that post yesterday to include the 15th one. Thanks. And for the record, I must have been tired when I wrote that post - I was actually up to approx. page 50 of the other thread I think - I got to this thread from a link in the other thread. Also, when I wrote above "in the first post of this thread", that was a mistake as well. You obviously didn't write that in the first post of this thread. I'm guessing you wrote it in whatever post I landed on after following the link from the other thread. But frankly, after reading most of the other thread from the very beginning last night, and then reading the remaining 15-17 pages this morning, I can't motivate myself to search the 3 pages of this thread to find your quote! Still, thanks for explaining. I'm going to try and move my lazy butt from the computer now and see if I can get things accomplished around the house now!

I just discovered all of this last night and am only up to page 45 so far of the Air Raid - eBay auction thread (Sheesh!!!), but in the first post of this thread you list list 17 owners of carts, and at the top state "That now makes 13!". Maybe I'm stupid, but I don' get it - how does a list of 15, plus two potentials, equal 13? What am I missing?

C'mon! You had me going there, ready to believe you, but 27,000 in Berzerk? That can't be real. Was this just an early April Fool's Day gag?
