  1. Generation 0: Original Magnavox Odyssey 1st Generation: 2600 2nd gen: Vectrex - I like the other systems from this generation, but I just couldn't imagine not having a Vectrex 3rd gen: NES 4th gen: Genesis (Sega CD, 32X) - Grew up with 5th gen: Nintendo64 - better quality games imo, couldn't do without SSB64 either 6th gen: PS2 for variety 7th gen: 360
  2. Well that seems like a lot less fun:) Seeing as I haven't soldered ICs before, I will probably not be ordering this one.
  3. Updated the computer section, thanks Starship! I might just get a board so I can practice my soldering skills, seems like a fun, cheap project. As far as the cart itself, even the tototek one allowed Street fighter 2, but at least this one's USB. Updated the Computer Section, thanks Starship!
  4. Is that how Nickel ore looks? That's really sweet...oh, and the displays are cool too:)
  5. eBay Auction -- Item Number: 261020569119 This is what I get for searching on the 8th and the 10th, but not the 9th...Arghhh Did anyone here grab this?
  6. I'll say "yes." If you can get the price below 20 bucks for the SMS Face Plate, you'll have a guaranteed sale. I'll take the SMS shirt, and potentially a couple more if I like the quality. If you don't mind the moral ambiguity, you can order via paypal and sign up for their spam which will give you a $9.50 off next order coupon. I just paid via paypal again on another computer (clearing cache will probably also work) using that coupon, it offered for me to sign up again and receive another $9.50 coupon. So I think you can get a new coupon per spam email address you have. Makes the subsequent shirts reasonably priced.
  7. Finally bought the SMS Faceplate shirt, thanks!
  8. I've definitely got N64 fever. I've also got laseractive collecting fever, now that prices have gone up, sigh...
  9. There might be more available, there has been at least two auctions with multiple battlestations for sale.
  10. I know this isn't the marketplace, but I'd be interested in the Pokemon N64 and controllers if you decide to split it up.
  11. I'm in, I'm pretty sure I know some others that are interested as well. Is shipping included in the $30?
  12. Sadly, this was in the works and was prototyped. He sent it to someone to demo at ADAMcon, and may have gotten discouraged when it was not returned to him in a timely manner. It may be vaporware at this point... Adam SD info AA thread
  13. He's having troubles obtaining cart shells from his supplier apparently, he was willing to sell a board only version to the Overlay Repro maker, not sure if that's open to everyone. That said, I have an animaction that I would be willing to part with for $40 shipped. Please pm me if you're interested, I can send some pics to you.
  14. Please PM me if you split it up, I'd love to have the PT Barnum Acrobats Odyssey Adventure magazine. To anyone looking at the lot, those magazines are pretty sweet.
  15. I have a Turbo R MSX, never could figure out the best flash cart solution to get, so I just moved on to other systems. It's a shame there isn't an everdrive equivalent. Honestly, I'm not sure where any of it's sold, even Sunrise's site is in bad shape atm. Those were the best links I could find. You can always try the msx.org forums.
  16. The msx does have some flash carts and floppy emulators. http://www.msx.org/wiki/Storage_and_I/O This is a list of some of the devices. I'm probably not the best person to ask, but I think you can use a storage device such as the Mega-SCSI which connects to your computer as a floppy emulator. It can also be used to flash roms onto the Mega Flash SCC+ that acts as a flash cart for playing cart images. The SCC part is a special sound chip/memory mapper(?) that allows you to play the Konami games. As far as I can tell the SD v2.2 cart is an all in one solution. It emulates the SCC, and can flash itself off of an SD card. Can anyone else chime in?
  17. I have the one from Lynxman, what are the flash carts from karri and lars? I'm not sure how this one will turn out, just creating a thread about this flash cart in case someone wants to follow the progress.
  18. Dragon Warrior 1, which I believe is the first RPG I ever played too. Recently went back and max leveled, the DragonLord went pretty easily:)
  19. Thought I would post this in the Lynx section, a new flash cart for the Lynx is in development, you can check out the news here, and visit the main site for updates.
  20. This is the way to go honestly, or mod a controller from a different system.
  21. More specifically: http://www.flashmasta.com/2012/04/09/atari-lynx-flash-cartridge-flashmasta-lynx/. It'll probably end up being a basic flash cart, but most likely easier to use than the current flash cart is my guess. Also, there is a hint in the latest news that he's going to work on the Wonderswan! A lot of us can give up the eternal search for the Wonder Magic:)
  22. On my phone, but head over to the www.flashmasta.com for info on the latest lynx flash cart in development.
