Here in San Diego there is a well known business who runs EVERYTHING on C128s. A Falcon could certainly do the trick but a C128 is more practical only because of the availability.

It's not in the best shape but at least it isn't yellow. You pay for materials and shipping. If I don't find a take it goes to the trash. Perfect for someone who has a board/keyboard and no case or something. I'll give it 3 days before I dump it.

Pretty clean. The label on the front is somewhat scratched off. but the case is clean and in good shape. Make an offer via PM.

Hard to say, they usually got from $50 to $200 depending on condition and if boxed. A loose Mega ST case usually goes for $50 to $100, and a boxed unit $150 or so, especially if not yellowed. If it is dirty and grungy it would behoove you to clean her up before snapping a pic. Especialy the keyboard. I sold it for $85 shipped.

I replaced my TT030 with a NEW case from Best. I don't want to throw out my old case so if someone has a TT in need of a case, this one is available for free. Just pay shipping. When I had my 520 way back in the day all I did was boot game floppies. So how do I get the MiNT install files to the disk? I don't have a way to transfer large files. Well I do have a NIC but I don't know how to set it up!

I was not clear in my post. How does TOS know to boot MiNT from the HDD? Does it look for a boot sector on the hard disk before booting TOS from ROM?

If everything is in rom how do I boot MiNT?

Hi all.. Now that my Falcon is back together I'd like to set it up. It has an internal 2.0 GB drive and I have a reg'd copy of hddriver. How what do I do?

Yeah it ended up working pretty well. Aside from the two posts with slight cracks it is nearly mint.

Luckily the 520/1040 screws DO work in a Falcon! I have an old parts mule 520ST that I was able to rob from to put my case together! I cannot believe the person I got this Falcon from didn't think to do that! Instead he used any screw that came remotely close. In the end he slightly cracked two of the posts inside the case. Thankfully everything fits together nicely now! I booted it up and it looks good!

Since the 1040 shares the same case with the Falcon, is it safe to assume they use the same screws? How about the 520? My Falcon needs new case screws and I have some spare STs.

I can get you a Jag. My buddy Mark who sold me mine has one left. Mark was a well known Atari dealer in the 80s.. in fact I bought my first ST from him. Anyway, I found out he had two Jags left.
