  1. I remember it very well. My Mom surprised me with it, which was rare because those games were expensive for the family. I went home and got the neighborhood friends together to play it. I do remember some disappointment at how it didn't really look like the real game but, overall, it excited me quite a bit. I can't say it lasted long in the Current pile, though.
  2. Well, I plan to be cremated, but I picked the 2600. What did the OP expect having posted this to a 2600 forum?!?! I wonder if I could have my ashes dumped in the Arizona dump where E.T. is supposed to be?
  3. And what an accident! Not only did they have to figure out that they picked up something, but they had to drag it all the way back to the room below the yellow castle and realize that the animated wall was not a wall as it once was! I had wondered whether "Warren Robinette" was related to Garland Robinette, a newscaster in New Orleans. Hey, I was seven or so. I honestly don't remember where I read about it, but it was either EG or AA. My miniature claim to fame regarding Easter Eggs is this: I happened upon the Yar's Revenge egg. As you guys know, if AA printed your letter, you got a free game. I wrote in and waited. When the next issue of AA came out, it had letter signed by a Michael Weaver -- something close to my name. For years I thought they simply didn't want to send out the free game so they changed the name, but I am pretty sure I met the real guy online in Usenet at some point. m P.S. It was pretty simple to happen upon the egg in YR.
