  1. UPDATE: Ivory Tower Collections did an excellent job on my 2600! Brought it back to life and is running AWESOME! Thank you Al_Nafuur for the recommendation and to ITC for doing an outstanding job!
  2. Got mine from Stone Age Gamer. Works awesome: https://stoneagegamer.com/ac-power-adapter-for-atari-2600-retro-bit.html
  3. Thank you for the recommendation! I will reach out to them ASAP.
  4. Hello everyone, My trusty heavy sixer has finally shown signs of age. I can only play a game for a minute or two before it locks up or the screen scrambles. Is there any reputable place I can send it to have repaired? Mine is modded for S-Video, RCA jacks, and has the pause button added. All worked fine for many years up until now. I am not very technical when it comes to these and appreciate any assistance you may be able to provide. Best regards, Tremoloman
  5. You listed everything but the price of the game. Knowing the price would really help deciding on purchasing one.
  6. Johnny Bravo had the same issue:
  7. Watched this a couple of nights ago. Really great stuff! Video quality is very good for the time as well.
  8. Thank you for Amoeba Jump! One of my favorite homebrews EVER. I play it just about every day. I get up in the morning, take a shower, get dressed, then play a game before I go off to work, and another when I get home. Freaking awesome game bro! So happy it saves your high score on the cartridge version I have!
  9. Looks like a new 2600 console is upon us: "Enjoy your favorite Atari 2600 and 7800 games on one system. Not only does the Atari 2600+ pull double cartridge duty, it also features HDMI and widescreen mode for easy connectivity to modern TVs. Jump right in with the included CX40+ Joystick and a 10-in-1 game cartridge that features some of Atari’s most famous games like Adventure®, Missile Command®, and Yars' Revenge®." https://atari.com/products/atari-2600-plus
  10. To me, there's something special about playing on original hardware. I have a heavy sixer modded for stereo output, S-Video out, and built-in pause button. I put it in our spare bedroom where I let my girlfriend set it up as her bedroom. I come in and play Atari in there every day. I just have AA homebrews and a Harmony Encore cart which does the trick for us without taking much space. Stella is fine and I use it regularly, but real hardware is where its at for me.
  11. Charlie Brown is timeless! "A Boy Named Charlie Brown" is still one of my favorite movies! Congrats on the play and your amazing game room!
  12. Thank you Albert for the sale and all that you do for us
  13. Thank you for the post Goochman! I downloaded the screenshots from the facebook post so AA members can see them here.
  14. Hello! I just got a copy of your 2nd edition in black & white. This is an AWESOME book! Thank you for offering and producing it! Best regards, Trem
  15. Wow! Thank you for informing me of these remakes! I had no idea they existed. Really nice work!
  16. I finished my girlfriend's room in our townhouse and figured it was a good time to add my S-Video/Stereo/Pause button modded heavy sixer: 23547H Picture is crystal clear on a classic CRT!
  17. Although not on the list, I'll go with M-Network's Burgertime. It looks and plays like an Alpha release. Talk about uninspiring.
  18. Zayre was my #1 place to pick up Atari ages. After the crash of '83, there was a table near the cash registers at the Braintree, MA location that would have lots of games available for $5. I still have many of the carts I bought there today. Ah... the memories. I really miss Zayre.
  19. Boulderdash and Lode Runner on the 2600!?! Who would have ever thought? Automatic pre-order purchase for me! Amazing job! 🤘🤘
  20. Not only was it advertised in comic books, Koo-Aid Man had his OWN comic! I got my copy by collecting proof of purchases. Still have it, too!
  21. It is obvious Facebook is pushing an agenda and only allows posts that go along with the narrative without allowing others with different viewpoints a chance utilize free speech to speak their opinions and have an open and honest debate. It seems the word compromise has disappeared from the public. Not everyone is going to agree and squelching anyone with a challenging a point of view is dangerous and outright censorship. I think I'll likely delete my account as well once I notify my immediate friends and family. Thanks for the nudge to get me to do so.
