my apologies for the mess-about previously.
i am still selling.
the Falcon is up on eBay at the moment
at the moment i'm not currently accepting international bidders due to the large postage costs that will be involved. if however you are desperate for my Falcon, please get in touch and we can maybe work something out

well i managed to get some pics taken of my stuff, here's my Falcon on it's own, and with it's other "toys"

my setup currently consists of the following:
Atari Falcon030 14MB RAM, 128MB internal Hard Disk
Atari 1040STe upgraded to 4MB
Atari 1040STe upgraded to 2MB
I'm new to the Falcon, but I love it - runs Logic very swiftly! Profile2 gives me a weird CPU freq though - shows it as around 36MHz, yet another System Info program reports it as 16MHz
anyways, you can add me to the list of Falcon owners

Hey everyone, I'm new here, and unfortunately my first post is a plea for help!
I received my first Falcon machine yesterday, and whilst trawling through all of the miscellaneous disks that came with it I came across one called "Trip-A-Tron". When I ran it, the only thing that happened is my Falcon froze and the screen inverted. I rebooted the machine, but now the Falcon will not boot up with the hard disk partitions on the desktop, and the Hard Disk driver isn't loading. As far as I can tell i think it's using AHDI v5.04.
If i boot from a floppy, it works all fine, but the fact that it used to boot up from the hard disk itself and show all partitions but isn't now is a little bit disconcerting.
Can anyone point me in the right direction to get this problem solved? I've tried formatting, repartitioning, and using the HINSTALL.PRG application, to no avail. I've tried placing AHDI.PRG in my C:\AUTO directory, and still nothing
and SHDRIVER.SYS is in the root directory of C alsoI would greatly appreciate any help that people can offer me.
For the record I'm not running MultiTOS or MiNT. Just standard TOS
Thanks everyone
