  4. Don't misunderstand me. Great for Jose..But I know if I was a serious collector and something like that slipped through my hands I would have been sick over it.
  5. probably just an alarm function in his cellphone those poster were pretty cheap ... it seems jose will just grab everything ... and that noone else is bidding anymore .... just sell him all the items he wants and then let "us" know what's left You could have bid....you can't win without bidding. Problem is everyone is afraid he's going to outbid them and they won't win. But without a bid you can't win. One of these days his bid will be late and someone else will have taken it from the JAWS of the SHARK...HA HA Anthony No more posters but I have other vintage very rare paperwork like press releases and even a prototype 5200 coming in the next few days.
  6. JOSE, I HAD A FEELING YOU WERE GOING TO STEAL THESE.....ALL I CAN SAY TO ALL THOSE WHO DIDN'T BID IS IF YOU FEEL LIKE KICKING YOURSELF...GO AHEAD...IF YOU'RE AFRAID SOMEONE IS GOING TO BEAT YOU OUT THEY WILL. THOSE WERE THE LAST OF MY POSTERS AND I'M SURE THERE ARE QUITE A FEW OF YOU WHO WOULD HAVE LOVED TO HAVE THEM. JUST THINK LESS THAN $25 AND THEY WOULD HAVE BEEN YOURS. AFTER HAVING A COUPLE OF FAILED BIDDERS AT OVER $100 FOR THE LAST FEW THIS WAS THE STEAL. AT LEAST I'M GLAD IT WAS JOSE WHO STOLE THEM. HE'S BEEN GREAT TO ME SO IF I HAVE TO LOSE A FEW BUCKS I'M GLAD IT WAS TO HIM. YOU CAN'T WIN SOMETHING IF YOU'RE NOT IN THE GAME GUYS.... BOY WILL THEY LOOK GREAT ON THE WALL
  7. Shawn Dude I hope you are kidding, he (Anthony) was just trying to help the guy out so his account doesn't get suspended, besides, $60 million may not be a lot to Ebay but I assure you they care and YES they will be taking extra time to look for items they believe to be illegal. Thanks Crazy some people just don't like others and will respond in kind no matter what...Shawn has haunted me on these boards since 2002 when I put up something for sale, I'm not sure if it was a poster or a picture but I used some wording to cover part of it so that the buyer would have something almost no one had and Shawn decided that he would take the photo and clean it up and put it out and available for all. Since then almost anytime I've come back to AA Shawn has had a problem with something I do or say. I think after six years it's time to pack away old feelings and move on. As far as $60 million not being a lot to eBay...RIGHT....$60 million is a lot to Bill Gates, Exxon or whoever when it's been taken from you. Ebay might not have cared as much had they decided to give it away but when somebody takes from your pocket I don't care if its a dollar its toooo much. Aren't we all crying the gas companies are robbing from us everytime the cost of gas goes up a nickel? Anthony
  8. BESIDES IF YOU'VE ALREADY LISTED IT ONCE AND THEY TOOK IT DOWN YOUR ACCOUNT CONTAINS THAT IN THEIR DATABASE. IF YOU PUT IT UP AGAIN AND THEY CATCH IT YOU COULD LOOSE YOUR ACCOUNT...THEIR DATABASE KEEPS EVERYTHING ON YOUR ACCOUNT AND WHEN THEY FIND YOU DOING ANYTHING WRONG THEY HAVE PEOPLE WHO CHECK ON YOUR ACCOUNT. YOU MIGHT BE ABLE TO FOOL MOTHER NATURE, BUT NOT EBAY. AND NOW SINCE THEY WERE FINED ABOUT $60 MILLION DOLLARS BY THE COURT FOR SELLING ILLEGAL PRODUCTS I WOULD IMAGINE THEY ARE ON ULTRA HIGH ALERT FOR ANYTHING NOT ON THE UP AN UP. BE CAREFUL ON EBAY. ANTHONY
  9. Lemmi, Maybe you'll catch something you like on the next group. I plan on continuing to sell off a large lot of 1980s paperwork over the next couple of weeks. I also may have a few surprises along the way. Anthony

  14. There are many really good on the spot replies to this post, but I believe there is one thing that many of you have not figured in here. The crash of the 80s(oh and by the way for those who missed it also affected the computer companies of the time) had 2 major differences than anything today. Number one, the games of the 80s were around $30 to $40 each, not a lot less than many of todays games. Now think for a moment how much a $30 game would cost today figuring in the actual dollars worth today. Average salaries then were probably in the $300 to $350 range. How much do you make today. How much would a game cost you today if it was at the same percentage of your pay as a game was to your pay then. Secondly, do you believe there are only as many people buying games today as there were then. So the amount of buyers today can support much much more garbage than the buyers in the 80s. I'm pulling some numbers out of the sky here so don't attack this on the numbers I'm going to quote now. If there were 5 million people with systems buying games in the 80s and there are a 50 million buying games today, just imagine how much junk can be sold today. The only crash coming is the crash of us consumers when we see the price of the NEXT NEW SYSTEM on the market.
  15. HI, SINCE I ADDED THE LETTER AND PICTURE I THOUGHT I WOULD BUMP THIS UP. ANTHONY
