So far: Tomb Raider Legend God Hand Metal Slug 4 & 5 WarioWare (if you can count this ) Rayman Rabbids And, thank god, just tonight, after over a decade of playing it in the arcade on and off, Magician Lord! I just about threw my AES stick across the room when I found out I had to fight all 8 minibosses and then the final boss in one run. Going for FF12, Jade Empire, RType Final, and Super Spy next.

Hope these are sufficient, I just flipped the stuff over. -
Nothing too impressive, but the stuff I don't have in storage. Also wanted to say, in the short time I've been on this forum, I've met some very nice and intelligent people. Thanks to whoever owns/runs the joint.

doh. that's what made it seem new. i didn't even realize.

Wow, I never knew these. Thanks!

So, I picked up (NIB) copies of Final RType and Gradius V for 5bux a piece. RType is pretty much the same as the very first (memorize, memorize, memorize) and I blew through Gradius V on normal on my first go through. Can anyone recommend any other shmups for the PS2 / Xbox / GC? I've got most of the standards (Ikaruga, etc) but I'm hoping I might have missed a few US gems.

I think you might have hit the nail on the head, I wanted one of these so f'ing bad during my youth, I think I somehow turned it in to the holy grail of gaming. But, I actually really do like the games. I'm hoping to finally get past the corridors of hell in mag lord and find another joystiq so I can actually beat Nam 75

If anyone has a complete copy they're willing to sell (or possibly trade) PM me. Thanks!

Have no idea if it's worth anything, box is in fair- shape, all the inserts, case, cart, and plastic housing are mint. If it's worth 1+ loose US NES carts, make an offer. Pictures upon request.

I worry about any piece of solid state gear that has a 'tuning screwdriver'.

sigh. i guess i'm going to cave in on this one and just try to pick up AES carts as I can. so, does anyone have anything negative to say about the MVS Converter II? http://www.neostore.com/images/products/ac...r/convertor.htm i don't want to pay 250$+ for a POS.

Guh. I was hoping I could just rewire the internals of the stick. Anyone know if this is possible?

Heard recently from a member (forgot who, sorry) that it is easy to rewire (resolder?) a 2600 controller to work on a TI-99/4a. As I've had a heck of a time trying to find TI controllers, anyone know the easiest way to do this? Thanks!

So, despite the best efforts of the community to deter me from collecting for this beast, I've been slowly amassing the common carts (Magician Lord, Nam, etc). So far, I've purchased all my stuff through NeoStore (which is one of the best places I've ever purchased VG stuff from!), but they're running out of interesting stock I can afford/justify. Besides eBay, does anyone have suggestions of other stores or communities that carry reasonably (ha) priced US AES carts? My wife told me just to buy the MVS converter, but I just love the AES carts so much.

For trade (or free), have a 2600, 3 - 4 sticks and 6 games (pacman, night driver, stampede, combat, freeway, donkey kong), hoping someone local to the area will pick it up. Comes with the power cable, but seems to be missing the adapter that connects the prong to the tv. Haven't tested any of the gear, but I'm not an Atari fan, so if anyone in the NoVA / DC area wants it (I'm in Ashburn) it's theirs. If you'd like to donate something small for it, I'm looking for those damn bits for the Nintendo screws/nuts, or a handful of loose NES/SNES/Gen carts. Let me know!

If you're willing to part with it, let me know.

How on earth do some of you guys pick a game to play?
raindog151 replied to Ross PK's topic in Modern Console Discussion
This is an interesting question you pose. Often I finding myself reading about games, hanging out on here and /v/, or watching Cinematech more than actually playing games anymore. I have mild, mild anxiety about what to play sometimes. I'm pushing probably 300 games now out of storage. I'll pop in Mega Man 2 and wonder if I'd rather play Klax, etc. I've thought about this before, but never came up with a good answer. -

Managed to get through Deadly Towers yet? (ick) I'm actually trying the same thing with Clash at Demonhead. This game drove me nuts as a kid. Good luck! -
Trade Pending.

I'd rather do it as a lot, but I'll gladly listen to any offers!

Thanks CF, I'm hoping I'll be able to do just that: http://www.atariage.com/forums/index.php?s...=100903&hl= Wish me luck. Hope I'm not overreaching.
