When it comes to modern football games... I give Madden 07 two big thumbs up. I like it because its very accurate with rosters and player attributes. I can see how it would blow if your not a NFL fan though. I consider it a NFL simulator.. but yea if you dont like football I wouldnt go out and buy it.. Anyways... Madden is everywhere... I was watching the movie Little Giants and hes in it! He even took on acting... but who hasnt these days...

I think they are deffinitly keeping it in mind, and waiting to see how the PSP does, is a great Idea. I think they will release one, that is a little better then PSP, with a couple more features. Well at least thats what I wouldn't mind seeing.

Yea, I'am thinking they may release one next year or so. I was thinking about how far PSP and DS has already gotten. It would be nice though.

Do you think Microsoft will attempt to make a handheld to compete with Sony and Nintendo? Or will they just release the X2? I think Msoft is probably brewing up some sort of handheld system to compete, what are your views on this?

I like both systems, but if I had to choose one it would probably be SNES. The reason being, is for its game titles, such as: mario, metroid, and final fantasy. I really like the genny though, nothing tops my sonic collection, I can play sonic for hours.

Anyone here play Halo (xbox) on Gamespy arcade? I wanted to get everyones names, to add to my freinds list. Its really fun, if you havnt tried it you should, I thought it would be cool to get some people from AA to play each other. My name on Gamespy is Iceonic.

I on't mind the PS3 being released soon, but man I just got my Xbox not even a year ago. Why would it be doomed? There just making better consoles, I know Iam going to purchase all three.

True Crime is much better then GTA. GTA is moslty a "run around and shoot people for no reason" game. True crime has more story to it, it also has a little bit of max payne twisted into it. Morrowind is really good. I can't really think of any others that I have played. I would try out both of those games for sure. You might want to rent them first. True Crime is a good game, but I wouldnt spend 50 bucks on it. I would wait for a sale or something. Morrowind can be found really cheap. I have seen it a various stores for 20$.

Halo is great. I can play multiplayer for hours. I wanted to get some people from aa to system link with me, I thought that would be really cool. Mabye we can set something set up soon.

The library is large enough, haven't you checked it lately? There are HUNDREDS of games available for the XBOX. In fact, the Gamecube currently holds the distinction of having the least amount of software due to fewer third parties developing for their system. Besides, how many games do you need? The average user buys less than 10 games for their system over the console's lifetime...I hardly doubt having 500 games for a system makes that much of a difference since mainstreamers tend to buy up only the established and popular games. Plus, everyone already knows that XBOX1 is Microsoft's "Get into the industry at any cost" trojan horse, so making huge profit margins is NOT the current priority. They're essentially using a land-grab model to gain marketshare as well as making investments and acquisitions for XBOX2. It can be said that XBOX1 was basically Microsoft's practice run for the XBOX2, since they came into this hardware generation race behind the PS2 due to its earlier launch. XBOX LIVE, the third party developer acqusitions and signings, building the brand, these are all signs that Microsoft has every intention of fighting Sony in the next generation and is making the preparations NOW rather than later. The larger-scale profits WILL come, they just aren't a priority right now. Yes, I guess the library is large enough, I was just looking at the titles I really like for it, and I only named about five. Yes, they are definitly past GCN with game titles. Like you said it was just a practice run anyway. Iam sure they will really impress us with the new system.

I meant the library. Considering the game selection, the Box is not worth $100. Of course it's still better than the N-Gage which is worth about $1. Yes, the library isn't very large at all. They need to crack down and come out with some more games, then they will really make some money, expecially with the price at 99$.

Well at the time I was an idiot and I voided the warranty. My freind has a PS2 and his has been working just fine. Mabye I had a defected system. I like Sony I just wish they would have made better hardware, but like I said, my system may have been defected. Anyway, do you think it would be better for Microsoft to release an entirly new system, I would be happy with some hardware upgrades, but then the PS3 would zoom past them in sales. So I guess a new system would be good for Microsoft.

I think the current price is pretty fair, considering the parts used to build the system. Iam sure if you purchased all the parts your self, you would come out nearly the same, or it may cost more that way, who knows. On the other hand the PS2 could have been built with higher quality parts, for the price they sold it for. I had mine for less then a year, and it quit reading discs and games started freezing, etc. I hope they release a new model with higher quality for the price.

Whoa! 99$! Ill have to buy an extra one then. Who cares if its big, I love it. Halo rocks! Mabye sony will drop too, because my PS2 stopped reading disks, wish I wouldnt have voided the warranty trying to fix it my self
