  1. Bump! Still looking for these, will pay very fairly for any you have. I also have lots to trade (NES, Genny, PSX games, some 2600 hardware etc.). If you have any tell me what you're interested in and hopefully we can work something out!
  2. Hey guys, I bought my bro a modded coregrafx for Christmas and I have everything he needs to get started except for some controllers. I would love an Avenue 6, but I'll settle for anything you've got. I could also use a PCE 5 player port if anyone has one. I'm looking to get this here before Christmas and I can paypal you ASAP, just let me know what you have and what you want for it total including shipping. Thanks guys!
  3. Hey guys, My brother wants to get into the Turbografx/PC Engine scene and I'm looking to get him a ton of games for christmas. I'm looking for a big lot of common cheap (but fun) games and he is really big on shooters. Loose hu-cards are fine, complete would be a bonus. I'm open to any you have, but the bigger the lot the better. Shoot me your list and how much you're looking to get for them and we can work something out. I also have a ton of NES stuff for trade (loose/complete games, systems, accessories, etc.) and some things for other systems as well. If you have any expensive games I'm open to those as well, but I'd rather get him a ton of inexpensive games. Thanks for the help!!!
  4. I definitely have an extra AC adapter, maybe an extra switchbox too. PM sent.
  5. Up for auction is a converter to allow you to play TG-16 games on the PC engine and vice versa: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...E:IT&ih=004 I also have a few other items for auction (SNES system with a .99 start bid, loose copies of Mega Man 6 and Super Mario Bros. 3) and I'll be putting up a ton of others this week so keep checking them out! Happy bidding!
  6. You could definitely make some money on the SNESes on EBay if you wait until it gets a little closer to the Christmas season. As said early, the Genny's don't sell, they're hard enough to GIVE away, you could probably do alright on Craigslist though.
  7. No, I wish it did come with the game, but unfortunately it does not................. Hey Mark, I got your personal message and I tried to email you back but it wouldnt let me for some reason, I think im gonna wait and see what the auction brings but thanks for the offer...........huskers No worries Husker, I got your PM. I haven't seen a boxed one on Ebay in some time, you're probably better off letting it run its course. I'll definitely be throwing a bid on it though, free bump for a nice guy with some nice stuff!
  8. Your poor friend Larry doesn't want a repo? Man, his kids must REALLY love them Flintstones! There is one on EBay right now for 249 or best offer: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...A:IT&ih=005 Good luck finding a cheap one with the market for them super hot right now...
  9. I really need these, if the price isn't right I can negotiate. I also have a decent trade list if that would be easier.
  10. Nintendoage.com has the most dedicated NES collectors on the net hands down, NESworld.com is a pretty solid site too. For a site that has a lot of info on those two systems (and the best cataloging tool around), check out RFgeneration.com
  11. PM sent for some of your Vectrex carts.
  12. Saw them at Avalon a few years back, great stuff. This does pretty well with that NES sound.
  13. Back up top! A few more items removed, many more still here!
  14. An LED switch is a breeze on the NES, just do a quick google search. About the clear coat, I used a plastic non-gloss clear coat to protect the paint, not to be shiny. Now I can throw this NES down the stairs and the paint will stay put. They do have a reflective clear coat that I will buy for the Wii/NES job, I'll take a pic of the can and tell you how well it works. Its meant for bike helmets and mail boxes to reflect light but let the color of the paint come through, not sure how good it will work.
  15. Wario's Woods was the last US NES release, December of 1994. Also the only NES game with an ESRB rating. Edit: Actually, if people consider Sachen releases to be legit game releases, nothing touches huge insect. I want to say that one came out around 2001.
  16. The 2 best Fami only games I have are Splatterhouse and Kid Dracula (can't remember their Japanese names). Two great platformers, albeit Splatterhouse is definitely a bit short. Check those out, you'll be happy.
  17. I'm definitely doing a Wii colored NES soon, full with a super bright blue LED. I'm really excited to try that out, I think white will look nicer in pictures too. If I get this done this week, I'll throw some pics up here.
  18. Hammerin' Harry, Aussie Rules Footy and Ufouria play great on my clipped toasters and my top loader. Super Turrican however, runs much too fast. Almost unplayable. I highly recommend Ufouria and Hammerin' Harry, 2 really good games.
  19. Hi folks, After having waaaaaaaay too many extra NES consoles lying around (forced to buy systems with lots just for the games they come with), I'm realizing I don't have nearly as many AC adapters or RF switches than I thought. I'm looking to get 3 ACs and 3 RFs for the original Nintendo. They don't have to be the official ones, they just have to work. Ideally, I'd pick them all up from one person and I'd like to spend around $3 a piece on them. Please let me know if you have any extras so I can free up some much needed house space. -Mark
  20. Bump! Some stuff added, some removed. Lots more to come, keep an eye on this thread!
  21. I actually just painted an NES black the other day: I took everything apart and used a spray paint made for plastics (3 coats) and then 2 coats of a spray paint clear coat. The picture doesn't do it any justice, it looks really sweet. I was going to paint the reset and power buttons, but couldn't pull them off the board, I was told it was very simple though. I cut the lock out chip and bent the pins back, I'm going to change the LED and paint those buttons. The whole reason I did this is because I bought a Sharp NES Television and they come with special controllers that are made by Nintendo, but they are black and say "Game Television" on them instead of Nintendo. I like them and wanted a system to match the colors, black and some read fit the bill.
  22. Nintendoage.com has one of the best rarity guides around, even has the rarity of boxes and manuals. I'd use that and the DP guide over Etler's list any day of the week, that one is just too outdated.
  23. Hi Folks, I have a few things I am looking to move pretty quick. First off... Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2 Brady strategy guides: Great shape, both are nearly new. $22 for both.
