  1. Yeah, but I bet the people posting these bogus lots on Craigslist are members here. The person is probably getting a good laugh out of this thread right now. I don't really understand why someone would spend time posting fake Craigslist adds, I could think of a million other things I could be doing instead.
  2. Looks like you had some success on EBay selling this guy, good job. Any idea of differences between this and the final released version?
  3. Nintendoage and NESworld are the two I frequent most.
  4. The last complete Myriad just sold for $1150, Caltron is much much cheaper. Caltron is on Ebay often enough with BIN, Myriad won't show up again for a very long time.
  5. Lots of fuss over a list of games that no one is sure are in Hounder's hands yet. I know Hounder as a strong NES collector and an honest guy, but if I had to put my money on it, he responded to a bogus craigslist add and the "seller" is taking him for a ride. The seller claims to have had all these games, plus unbelievably rare games for the NES (Stadium Events) and SNES (Star Fox Super Weekend). No one on craigslist has 30 some odd games and they just all happen to be super rare. This will blow over shortly and we can all argue about the price of something else...
  6. Thats the one, 3D minestorm not the coaster, my bad. Still a great price, I may have to go for it.
  7. Wow, that is an amazing price. Someone should snap this one up quickly!
  8. I'm pretty sure someone on the DP boards is selling a complete 3D imager with 3D coaster for $400, could be wrong about it being complete. I just passed the 10 Vectrex game mark, really cool system I think more people should try out. For $1k, as nice as this one is, I'd still pass.
  9. Yeah, I hear you on that. I don't mind buying a lot for one game or reselling eventually, but I don't flip stuff for profit. Resellers keep the market high and make it harder for collectors to find stuff in the wild, but it happens. I wouldn't have said a word if he hadn't used my photo, thats what set me off. There have been countless threads on many different forums about reselling, I'm ready to let this one die out.
  10. There are a boat load of Homebrew games for the NES made by Bob Rost, he even teaches a course on it. I've heard very good things about Sack of Flour, Heart of Gold but haven't purchased a repo just yet.
  11. What do you use as a cleaner for your carts? Those contacts are sparkling! I use a white eraser and isopropal alcohol and I have never gotten them that shiny before.
  12. I'm all set with getting into a pissing contest, it just bothered me that I sold to someone who intended to buy the lot just to flip it for a quick buck and then use a picture that I took. I said earlier that you could use my picture if your camera was broken and stated that most of the games are in great condition and I linked to some better pics so that people could see the condition of the games to help you with your sale. Almost everyone here has resold something video game related, but I feel thats a little different then flipping. I traded some of that lot with some people on these boards and wish that the whole lot could have ended up in collectors hands. As anyone here that I've traded with can tell you (Mert, Dusk2600, Phantom, PressureCooker, many on other boards), I offer lots of stuff at fair prices and I am honest with my sales. Go ahead with your sale and use my pic if you need to, I hope you get a fair deal for it.
  13. Dude, if you buy a lot from a person with the intentions of flipping it within 24 hours, thats a reseller in my book. A collector on these boards would have bought my games and played/saved them. You're a reseller who happens to collect. Next time just don't steal other peoples pics, thats the only reason why I noticed. i hooked you up by driving out to meet you half way and the next thing I know, my bedroom shows up on EBay. Alright, I'm done ranting, again, good luck with the sale.
  14. That wasn't my intention at all, if you want to use the pic you may do so. It does bother me that I met you half way to make a fair sale for a lot of SNES games and then you went and flipped them on EBay using a pic I took. Once I sell you the games, you may do what you want with them, keep them or sell them as you wish. I would have rather them go to a collector rather than a reseller, but this happens often enough. Good luck with the sale Erik, if you need to use that picture because your camera is broken you are more than welcome to.
  15. Yeah he does. I sold him this lot last night not knowing he was on these boards or that he was a reseller. I posted these games for sale on Craigslist and he responded to that add. I hate flipping for a profit, but if he is going to do it I would have rathered he not stolen the picture that I took. I don't mind it when people buy a lot of games just for individual titles and then resell the rest or if they buy games as trade bait, but people who buy a lot just to flip it and can't even take the time to snap a picture of the games bothers me. I've traded with a bunch of people on these boards and over at DP, Rfgeneration and NESworld and would have much rather seen these games go to another collector instead of a reseller, but I guess this stuff happens.
  16. Here is a link to my original for sale thread: http://www.atariage.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=103845 I spent a long time cleaning up these games and taking the stickers off any that weren't on a label, so for the most part the games are in good shape. For an actual in depth look at which games are damaged and in what way feel free to look in my link where I actually took the time to take decent pictures showing the front labels. Good luck flipping the lot Erik!
  17. Dude! Thats my pic!!! Wow, just sold this lot to a guy in Needham for $150 last night. Classic stuff right there. I wish he would take his own fucking picture though. I just had this for sale on these boards, different picture because it had a few different things in it before I traded them to Mert. EDIT: I realize after looking at this link, you weren't posting a random good lot of SNES games but you were actually promoting your own auction. I wish you had told me you were a member here, we probably could have worked out a better deal. I'm not down with the whole flipping for a profit thing, but to each his own. That being said, I'd appreciate it if you didn't use my picture and instead take the five seconds to snap one of your own. -Mark
  18. I've made some great trades with this stuff, lets keep it going! Long overdue bump.
  19. Hi all, I just bought a Vectrex with a few games and am probably going to buy a flash cart soon. I want the games to play as they were meant to be played, so I'm wondering if anyone has any extra overlays. I know that it is fairly common for people to produce there own and that its fairly simple and cheap to do so, so if anyone has any repos I would gladly buy those just as quickly. Thanks!
  20. Some more stuff: Turbografx-16 systems and games lot: 2 Turbografx-16 systems 1 turbo tap 2 controllers 1 turbo booster *GONE* 1 AC adapter Dungeon Explorer with gem case, instructions (sticker on back inside) and hucard sleeve Keith Courage with instructions and gem case ket.Sidearms with hucard sleeve Vigilante with hucard sleeve TV sports football loose Still taking trade offers on everything listed, traded items have been removed from the list. Keep an eye on this thread, I'll be throwing more stuff up in the next few days.
  21. I'll keep my eyes open for Rampart and Super Punch out (I'm thinking I may be seeing a SPO shortly though, I'll keep you posted), but none on me right now. Thanks for the positive words guys, does anyone want this stuff? Possibly last bump!
  22. If you don't want those NES extension cables Dusk, I'd be interested. Shoot me a PM.
  23. Hi Folks, I've been hanging onto some SNES stuff for a while and have decided that I don't have the room to collect for this and the NES too, so I'm only keeping the few games that I'll actually play. Here is a list with pics of the games I would like to trade: ***ALL SNES ITEMS HAVE BEEN SOLD*** All of these have good front and back labels with no stickers: Darius Twin Gradius III Killer Instinct Super Star Wars Super Empire Strikes Back Super Return of the Jedi Street Fighter 2 Ken Griffey Jr.'s Winning Run not for resale demo Best of the Best Championship Karate Urban Strike Super Battleship Chester Cheetah Wild, Wild Quest NBA Jam Top Gear James Bond Jr. Joe & Mac Inspector Gadget NHL Stanley Cup NCAA Basketball Ken Griffey Jr. Presents Major League Baseball The Lost Vikings Jurassic Park NHLPA Hockey Lock On Michael Jordan Chaos in the Windy City Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers WWF Super Wrestlemania WWF Royal Rumble F-1 Pole Position Riddick Bowe Boxing F1 Pole Position The Blues Brothers Batman Returns Road Runner's Death Valley Rally F-Zero Super Baseball 2020 Spiderman X-Men Arcades Revenge Aaahh!!! Real Monsters Bulls vs Blazers: The NBA Playoffs These Next games are damaged in one way or another, I will list specifically: NBA Jam T.E.: Rental sticker on front label NHL '96: Front label has a sticker, rental sticker residue on top label Tecmo Super Bowl III: Rental sticker residue on top label, slight tear in front label Final Fight: Whole cart is a mess, but works Madden 95: Front label in very bad shape Bugs Bunny Rabbit Rampage: Front perfect, torn back label Out of this World: Lots of rental sticker and other damage, back label torn Ninja Warriors Finally, a few sealed games and a system: Vegas Stakes Factory Sealed, 2 copies F-Zero Factory Sealed Loose console with all hook ups and 2 controllers (not pictured). No Yellowing. **System is GONE** So what am I looking for in trades? Well... Any NES game I do not own. VERY interested in rarer games and I can pay for a difference with cash if need be. For a list of games I own, click here: http://www.rfgeneration.com/cgi-bin/collec...lder=Collection Any Famicom game that didn't have a U.S. release and can be played fully without knowing Japanese. Any PAL NES games that weren't released state side, except for Ufouria. Any pirate NES or Famicom game, especially multicarts. Any Prototype or Demo for the NES. When it comes to trading, I think the easiest way would be a straight swap using the DP price guide for a guideline. for example, if the DP guide prices a group of my games at $50, trade me $50 worth of NES stuff according to the DP prices. Doesn't have to be exact, but in the ballpark would make it an easy trade. Obviously not looking for as much for the damaged games though. If you want to buy flat out, I only accept Money orders at this time and I am much more interested in trading. If you have any questions or want more pics of individual carts, don't hesitate to ask. My feedback is in my sig at the bottom of this page. Thanks for looking!!!
  24. I've done this to 4 toasters now and I couldn't be happier. Now I can play Ufouria without hooking up my top loader : )
  25. *ducks and runs for cover to Nintendoage and NESworld*
