  1. What would be the most frightening thing in space, subspace, or hyperspace?

  2. I like how eBay sellers fake their location now, bought an item that's 100 miles away, and it takes 3 weeks via DHL, I should've just ordered it from Shenzhen

You should disconnect your internet connection permanently to avoid such issues in the future.

  6. my last place to find old game stuff has decided to crank the prices up to 11, they had a few common atari games in box for 50 dollars each, still checked incase of like sears superman or cannon man but well probably won't be finding anything cool locally much anymore.

  8. I wish you could just buy Microsoft Office without it being a subscription service.  To me 365 just means you are paying for the same software every day of the year.  Great what convenience!

  9. When a piece of software tries to be all things to all people, it usually ends up as a bloated mess of problems.

  10. Last night I opened a can of worms (figuratively speaking);  I have now seen episodes 1 and 2 of a 1963 show called Doctor Who.

As long as you can convince yourself Capaldi was the last regen and everything after that only exists in some politically correct construct in the minds of BBC management.

    COVid 19, Day 20

So... I am one day away from three weeks (21 arduous days) of this here Coronavirus.

It has been a roller coaster for me (personally) and then some...

I thought I would be lucky and be part of the 80%, but sadly my experience has been closer to the people who have ended up in hospital.

I would put myself in the final 15%.

I think the thing that has saved me is, I have never smoked.

I am a big broad man mountain of a person and although I am overweight, being 6 foot 6 helps as does my lung capacity which has always been very good.

When I was a kid I used to do this thing; breath right in as slow as possible and for as long as possible until it feels like I could burst, I then hold my breath for as long as possible.

I just did this to show off that I could do it, initially as my whole family smoked and lots of them would be coughing all over the place.

Literally every person in my family, mum, dad, mum's family, my dad's family. Then my siblings. All my aunts, uncles, grandparents both sides.

I probably passive smoked a fair amount for a few years which is probably where I got my asthma.

    So this weird thing,

It became a habit over the years.

When you get completely full lungs and hold for a good couple of minutes, to the point I think I might blackout, it gives me this kind of buzz.

I then expel all the oxygen I have inhaled as slowly as possible.

That really helps in alleviating the asthma which can play up bad paradoxically.

Inadvertently I seem to have been training my lungs and improving my lung capacity for years !

I don't think I can rule out that being a key factor that has helped me in this.

For first couple of days I had the 'can't breath' symptom and a tight chest has been quite a constant. Fortunately it all eased up a couple of days later when the cough become more prominent.

None of that now, today, thank God. Been awake a few hours and not coughed as yet.

    Touch wood.

    ---

I woke up today, no headache. Feels quite clear.

I'm a little hazy in a mental functioning sense (trying to add things up and remember names) and that has been a constant.

I think this virus might over work your system and leave you a bit short on resources.

I think getting more rest / sleep might sort that.

I'm going to have some lovely Salmon fillet later with some leafy greens (I got put on a priority list for shopping, which I was not expecting and this allowed me to order some healthy good food for the first time in about a month !) and potatoes, that will help.

Plus some flat breads with nuts and seeds. I've even got custard and a chocolate pudding for desert to look forward to.

Don't forget to eat. Force yourself if you have to. A lot of the time I could have gone a full day without eating but I think that is counter productive as it will run your energy down!

Eating junk though simple and easy probably isn't the best option. I've been craving healthy foods.

The cough wasn't the problem last night, that I was expecting it to be, despite the flare up in the day.

So my only major symptom I can feel right at this moment is some mild pain to my lungs. I have really bad tinnitus and a creaky feeling in my right ear.

There is some hearing loss but it is only on par with a mild ear infection.

One symptom that might be unique to me is I wake up with a very dry throat, I then drink about 2 litres of water which helps, It might be due to my IDA.

    > I'm going to spend the next day maybe two in complete rest so I will only briefly pop online to try to get myself finally OVER THE LINE.

One thing that just occurred to me to mention is the changes in my sputum during this:

First it was clear, then it went white and foamy, then it was clear and stringy

and now it seems clear and 'sticky' in that it is difficult to spit out and when I try it tends to stick to my lips or go down my chin.

I've got wipes I am using for that.

I'm hoping that shows some kind of progress and expulsion of the germs but as I am not a doctor I can't say either way.

    Right

Please do take this seriously !
Please do get stocked up with vital resources that may help you through this!

Please take care, look after yourselves

I would like to thank each and every one of you for your positive messages, comments responses and advice

    Ext: Train Station, Day

    VINCE alights from his train, rushes over the bridge, takes numerous steps at at time on his way down, reaching the platform just seconds before the train is due to leave;

He hops on and seeing the doors close behind him, lets out a sigh of relief.

Train TWO of FOUR he says to himself thinking about FOOTBALL.

  15. I am DONE getting absorbed into negativity. I cut part of my thumb off at work today and had to go to the hospital. On the way back home the thermostat went out on my car, which is now on the side of the highway. I am convinced either Cupid is pissed off at me or I have manifested this train of bad luck on myself by getting absorbed into drama and negativity. Im gonna stay positive and just focus on my projects from now on

Lots of people realising they've been duped by a scumbag, coming together and apologizing seems like a positive thing to me.

Somehow I don't see Keatah having the skills or ability to put a probe on Mars. NASA still winning here.

  21. My mind is just blown, I've never had E3 give me everything I could have asked for before. My all time favorite 3D platformer, Super Lucky's Tale, and my all time favorite horror game, Alien: Isolation, are both coming to the Nintendo Switch! And the beautiful remake of my all time favorite Zelda game, Link's Awakening, is coming this September! And Doom: Eternal! Aaahhh!!

  23. "ALMOST HUMAN" was a great show! Thanks Fox for canceling it....idiots! Show was probably too advanced for the execs at Fox to follow!

Fox cancelled "Fringe" to keep "Almost Human", and then cancelled it anyway. Refuse to watch anything until it gets to a 3rd season. Not worth the investment.
