Hi AtariMania! Both GGN and myself are long time 8bit fans, and all of us at D-Bug have great respect for Ijor..... so if there's anything we can help with, just let us know! Good luck with the project, and in making it the *BEST* ST resource on the internet!

And I'm betting you've used up all the RAM in it with HOLE, or HD cache. You HOLE prefix. Listen, very carefully. Can you hear it? Yes, it's the worlds smallest violin playing just for you. Oh and pperror, our T&C explicitly say you are not supposed to even look at our stuff - so support for you is "not". Yep, I can basically convert a title to HD now in around 5-10 minutes. The Falcon fixing is still a royal PITA tho, but we won't ever give up on that unless its a dead-horse. Thanks everyone (that we care about) for the positive comments.

http://www.dbug-automation.co.uk/ To commemorate the launch of the new ULSv3 core, and the formation of the new ULS Consortium, we decided to do something special - A simultaneous launch by both partners in the group. On Klaz's site you will find the classic ST shooter "Goldrunner" - while here, on our site we present a title that really deserved having all the stops pulled out for it. D-Bug of the ULS Consortium present to you "Geoff Crammond's F1-GP?" Note: Enter "cars" on the password screen. Of course, it wouldn't be D-Bug without a sparkly intro from GGN and some rocking music from Dubmood! But that's not all!! Check the top bar of our website and you will find a new link! ULSv3 - Yes, this new loading technology is now open source for anyone and everyone to use (With one exception, hehe). Let the ST HD-Revolution begin! CJ/D-Bug of The ULS Consortium

I see your grasp of georgraphy is right up there with your Atari knowledge...... At least you didnt deny all the other points :-)

I'm so sorry we will be unable to offer an apology since its all true. Your s/w DID cause a partition wipe, your applications ARE dangerous to the hard disk they run on, you DID get offensive when we pointed out bugs, your RAW partition IS a stupid idea, oh and your soldering DOES leave a lot to be desired. You ARE a liar about multiple accounts, and you HAVE NO credibility. Wait I can offer one... I apologise to GGN and ChrisTOS for testing your software, and it trashing their partitions. I apologise to all at D-Bug who took the time to point out where the bug was, and I'm sorry you chose to ignore it and get offensive. I apologise to Atari folk around the world who you expect to repartition their drives to run 3 games. I apologise to your Atari in particular, for having to put up with your soldering skills. I apologise to the moderators of AtariAge for having to put up with your multiple accounts and lies, and I aplogise to anyone reading your posts for the headache your Yodaspeak causes them. I apologise to the universe in general for the waste of atoms your body uses. And I apologise to myself, for wasting precious time from my life trying to educate you. See? All i had to do was really try hard. There was an apology in me after all. Good day troll..

Sundog Frozen Legacy rarity?
CyranoJ replied to eggplant_casserole's topic in Atari ST/TT/Falcon Computers
Other than that, try a Discovery Cartridge from Happy Computers - they pop up on ebay now and again. The software with it is crap and looks like its from the Dark Ages (It looks even worse than the Atari8 Happy Software, hehe) but it does work.. Functionality over style -
The "proof" is in the IP addresses and your lies in your posts.
-
Dude, You've been caught, not once, but twice, red handed with your fingerprints all over the IP addresses of multiple accounts, on two different forums. You've been caught telling lies about not creating them. You've been caught talking shit about things you don't seem to be very knowledable about. You don't give a flying f**k about people with issues using your software, yet harp on about how great your "user support is" When you don't get your way you attack forum moderators and members - you attacked the Atari-Forum moderators and members (Who, I have to admit, are so two faced they let you just get away with it) and here, you have done the exact same thing. If I were you, I'd be too embarassed and ashamed to post anything here.
-
Oh good greif. Just give it a break. Other people ask for "improvements" ?? Funny how we pointed out bugs and you completely ignored them. In fact you denied their existence and refused to even comment about them, and then got all defensive and rude about it because we dared to let people know your software is buggy. Incorrect STE detection? Show me an OFFICIAL cookie jar for an STe with and IDE interface and I'll gladly add it. Your "so called" $10008 _MCH value is a hack to TOS by 3rd parties. Our code identifies all Atari Issued STe TOS's quite correctly. "This is getting better and better... So, it looks that some people with high sense takes all for cash what reads from CJ" What the hell does that even mean??????? Not even Yoda talks that much jibberish. At English you fail, yes.... Albert or one of the other mods, can you step in here. If you need admin access to our forum to verify his activities then just ask GGN and it will be granted. We have had more than enough FUD put out by ppera, we don't need more.
-
No thanks, this isn't Amiga land. But if you'd like to send some money to us, ppera, thats very noble of you, and we'll be more than happy to start a donation box for people who need cash to get their ST repaired after using your stuff.
-
On behalf of the entire D-Bug team, thank you The reason we've been quiet as of late is due to the impending release of ULSv3.0 which will allow us to put far more games onto HD (and the Falcon/TT) that previously were unable to be converted to HD with full functionality. As you've been doing, watch the website....
-
I'll translate that from Yoda English to English for you... "Oh dear, they're on to me. The jig is up. I'd better shuffle off and hide and pretend it never happened."
-
Albert, I will troll trough our logfiles and get the IP addresses sent to you shortly. I don't know how many accounts he's made here but if he's done what he did on our forum you'll have a fair few to clean out. Your right, two people from the same IP range from the same town, who both post about the same things and both learned to speak english from Yoda, likely not is that.
-
Um.. Our forum logs IP addresses as well you know. And oh lookey here, I'm a forum admin... and ooooh lookey here again - they're all you. Would you like us to post them? After all, we don't have any issues pointing out what a complete waste of bandwidth you are Plus you've been busted for doing it on this forum as well. Oh, and its clique, not click. Again, sense you make not. Your game is up, matey.
-
Aww, you took the time to come and visit our forums... How sweet. Registered any more new accounts while you were there? Or were the 10+ you already did enough for you?
-
His problem is he has a split personality (Hi pperror!) Seriously, if your going to pretend to be someone else, use not the same flawed sentence structures. It works not. And your post even says "Needs special partitioning and driver" which incidentaly you haven't made available on the website you have the "patched" games on, so yeah go blow your trumpet about three games you've patched that people WILL have to repartition to play but can't because its not released yet. Whoop-de-doo. I refer my schitzophrenic friend to the many threads on Atari-Forum about corrupted data with Satandisk.. but no, there's no problems with it......

So he's sending you the abusive PM's now instead of me and ggn? Satisfy yourself with the knowledge you are right, because you will never convince him he is wrong. BTW, reading that other thread on that other forum "Nobody else has complained before" LMFAO. Tempest (And anyone else) - we have a "Wish List" thread on our forum (blatant advertising here: http://dbug-automation.co.uk) for people to submit titles for us to patch. Please feel free to post in it - chances are we'll look into any suggested title as we've patched most of the ones we like already -

Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. Tempest, we've all tried to be reasonable with this guy in the past, in fact he's even had a 4 day ban on this forum for being abusive (something he casually forgot to mention?) And yes, we're banned from that other forum, but that is because he's a mod there. All I can advise is if you expect to have a reasonable discussion, don't invite him into it. -

Hey Mods, Please come sort this guy out - he appears to have some sort of psychological disorder. -

At least we're doing something. All you do is talk crap and write bodgy arsed shit that goes in the AUTO folder stuffing the boot sequence up, then claim its the best thing since 1994. The patches on your page also have lots missing (like in some cases, complete intro sequences) but go ahead, poke fun at the work we've been doing. It makes you seem so knowledgable. Work arounds are a joke compared to fixes. And you have the audacity to constantly slag off Automation - yet your website uses Automation graphics in the background and you claim about your software being able to run with their cracks. You, sir, are a total hypocrite. Not that you'll know what that means of course. It's a long word, with more than 2 syllables. You claim TOS is the main problem. Funny how nearly 90% of games don't use TOS as they autoboot low in memory. If it's not used, how can it be a problem? 512Mb - Last I checked, RAM was HARDWARE. 24 bit address line vs 32 bit address line > Last I checked, address lines were HARDWARE. Shadow Registers - Controlled by a chip on the board that decodes addresses I believe? Gosh, could that be HARDWARE? Floppy Drives - Isn't that HARDWARE? And funny how every time someone points out that you're wrong you come back with the ever popular "I don't care" line? Now please go away back to your lair and troll away at another "amazing" IDE interface that requires you to hand solder about 60 pins to your base board until it dies. Or at least start it and give up, as you do so well. Anyone looking at the pictures of your mods on your site will realise what a complete botch job you make of those as well. Thank you, and good day sir. -
Compatibility between Atari computer models
CyranoJ replied to Silence The Fallen's topic in Atari ST/TT/Falcon Computers
As usual from ppera, not quite true. It's mostly HARDWARE and not TOS. The major problem with the MSTE is the floppy spindown timers are different and sometimes a DMA loader will hang on the MSTE where it will run fine on other models (even the Falcon) The Falcon's big problem is usally the Shadow Registers for the PSG (Soundchip) causing bus errors, where on all other STs (And even the TT) they will work. There's also the 32-bitness of the CPU registers (compared to 24 bit on the STs) and also the PMMU (memory management) that prevents most games from running low in memory. Another huge problem for the Falcon is the ACIA chip seems to have some problems with older software, the results of which are no keyboard/mouse/joystick input on certain games (again, requires fixing) "Bad Crack" ?? Thats a joke. When the crack was released, there were no higher machines to test on. What usually causes this is something that intercepts the TRAP calls that load the data from the disk - the stack frame on the 68030 is diferent (1 extra word stored on the stack) so the depackers will fail. Yes, there is - except it's here: http://www.dbug-automation.co.uk Click on patches. At the very least, you won't get confused by the website layout (because it has one) -
I refuse to pick this morons dummy back up off the floor one more time. I dunno about the germs from the dirt, but its been in his mouth and thats bad enough for me. Folks, here's the bottom line. If you want to use his software, then do it, we can't and won't stop you - just be WARNED.
