    My furnace is stuck "on", I think a wire has shorted. I went to examine it, and printed on the front it says: "It's hard to stop a Trane." I didn't know that was a warning!!

      Just the fan is on, or is it producing heat? If just the fan, it could be a dirty filter. The firebox overheats due to lack of airflow and the fan stays on.
