    I added this to my calendar on my web site at AVC Online and on Jaguar Community United yahoo group(since yahoo doesn't send out reminders much any more I included a mention in the newsletter I e-mail out each month)

    On another subject but connected to 2018 Atari Awards: I've been thinking of either use either the nominations or wait for winners to be announced to be used in my Harmony Games HSC.
    I mentioned this in the twitch stream during the nominations and posted a topic here under Atari 2600 http://atariage.com/forums/topic/287656-2019-harmony-games-question/

    I know you all been waiting to hear the 2019 Harmony Games.
    I've been thinking about either using the nominations or wait for the winners are announced for Atari Games.

    saddly I'm going have to miss another year, I was thinking taking megabus like the old days since the venue is close to amtrak station,but I was figuring I would like to get back on co-hosting jagfest there at the show(or at least have a booth for AVC Online), taking megabus would put a damper on that due to limited stuff I can bring and schedules are not great.

    Maybe 2020 I'll make my long waited return to MGC.

    hopefully clint will tun jagfest at mgc again this year.

    Flights to Milwaukee can be stupidly priced depending on where you come from.

    in the past I used to take Megabus from chicago Union station to Milwaukke amtrak station on paul street and the show is only few miles away from the station.

    From 2600 High Score Rules and Infos (http://atariage.com/forums/topic/47348-high-score-club-the-rules-info-updated-11715/):

     

    "On an Atari 7800, moving the switch to the left is equivalent to "B (Novice)" and moving the switch to the right is equivalent to "A (PRO)", so simply set the switch to the appropriate position before starting the game."

    So I have the 'Star Castle Homebrew.bin' rom on my Harmony, and it is DIFFICULT out of the box, 3 drones that chase you incessantly, not nearly as gentle as the video, whats the correct rom? Tried the linked rom but obviously for stella, crashed:) Thanks guys.

     

     

    Two possibilities:

    1. You are playing the "other" Star Castle. :)
    2. Check your difficulty switches, both should be B.

    Better download the ROM from my blog (see post above).

    simple way to check if your playing thomas/AA version or scott williams version, on start up if comes up with Atari Age logo your playing the AA version if it doesn't then your playing scott's version.

    I have to d/l the final harmony version.

    nice schedule I will have to miss saturdays since I will be at Video Game Summit over seeing the show and watching some game play of the harmony games strip off as well few new exclusives from good deal games), I'll try to stream some parts of it it will be from phone via many cam(ustream and twitch(we will be streaming most of the day as well and I plan to do another broadcast at normal time, it will be the final broadcast at ustream as after july they will be dropping the free service)

    Did you play for this round?

    I've made an account at twitch and was ready to watch. Lasting 22 minutes for the video I had to go. :(

    If you put a video in your youtube channel, I'll watch you there as I'm already doing with other videos. :thumbsup:

    Time to Announce the final round for this season's Harmony Games:
    Unlike the previous rounds where the winner of previous round winners pick the game
    I will pick the game for this round and the game I pick is Strip Off by Good Deal Games/Homebrew Heaven.
    if you saw the podcast from Saturday night you saw me play it or if you watched the podcast on youtube
    I actually forgot I did a live game play on AVC Live back in 2009 when I had my pc connected to tv turner card
    Here's the video from that


    It's a simple and point and shoot game when I did a review in CVGamer magazine issue #3
    I mentioned it was like the reverse of the Death Star scene in Star Wars: Return of the Jedi:Death Star Battle
    there are no difficulty settings.
